Instead of monetary loans it's better if we can get livestock feeds at a subsidised rate. Just like we get rice and other stuffs through ration card. I've had experience rearing pigs and it's very expensive. The cost of feeds keeps growing each month.

Why butchers union not getting support from Public? Because of high atitude. Actual price Rs 280 but they charged Rs 300 When ever you go to buy pork meat , you will feel that u r going for a fight. If you ask meat, they will give you bones, teeth and fats. If you ask for 1kg they will give you less. This kind of style should be changed first then only they will get public support, untill and unless you get public support , no use of ban. This is the reason why public are happy to buy from Assam. After all it's hard earn money , everybody's wants best in best price.

To raise pig in Assam is comparatively higher then that of Punjab, UP because our feed cost are high. Recently the Govt have been investing on Feed Production as well. Hope fully we can bring down cost of production in coming years.
