Hiphop has gotten so FAKE. BOOTLEG KEV knows deep inside that Kendrick diss track was LIGHT WORK.. why do they all feel like they must carry on this narrative that Kendrick is one of the best lyricist. It's almost laughable when you really look at the REAL FACTS. The idea of Kendrick Lamar being this hiphop Lyrical top tier rapper is something that was manufactured by INTERSCOPE DR DRE and friends. Also because backpack conscious rap is rare on tye west and usually not supported, so Kendrick stood out over there, but if he was from NY, PHILLY, NJ, DETROIT he would be considered a B- C+ rapper. He is not anywhere close to being as Lyrical as ROYCE and KING LOS. Kendrick is a good overall song/brand package when it comes to artsy abstract concepts. But Lyrically and bar for bar, he isn't that good. He wasted atleast 3 minutes of Euphoria saying nothing but filler. Can we just please be honest. Kendrick uses on beat off beat rap deliveries and voice INFLECTIONS to hide the fact that his percentage of IMPACTFUL WORDPLAY in a verse is low. Just go back and listen to all his stuff. It's a bunch of filler words rambled in a way that you don't notice. And he actually say 2 or 3 good bars mixed into the ramble. That is exactly why 7 out of 10 Kendrick fans can never just quote any repeat worthy wordplay from Kendrick. He doesn't have 1 stand out or memorable freestyle on SWAY, HOT 97, BOOTLEG, or no where. The B.E.T Cypher was so light and overated. And the Control verse was damn near trash, and Joe Budden and King Los responded to the Control verse and showed him what he should of did.. I just wish yall give Kendrick lamar credit for being exactly what he really is, a iconic conceptual rapper. But he is no where close to being a top tier spitter
