- Hitman 3 is the highly anticipated finale to IO Interactive’s expansive World of Assassination Trilogy that began back in Hitman 2016. The game will take Agent 47 on an adventure across the globe as he eliminates the leaders of a menacing secret society, and his journey begins atop the tallest skyscraper in the world. As part of our exclusive coverage of the game, you can now watch the first 5 minutes of Hitman 3’s opening Dubai mission, during which Agent 47 descends upon The Sceptre.

@@thebesttheworst2277 Never played a hitman game huh? 😏 Hitman games about fun, interaction, and shooting ragdolls across the map. I played blood money one time with killing every npc on each map and beat the game in like 6 hours just for fun. I played it right the first time but what is the right way? Hitman is not the game you think it is. Maybe play blood money first then this game. I'm super excited for this.

They need to up their animation game, because this looks ridiculous. It's 2021, new consoles are here and 47 moves like he has no weight, animation blending is non-existent and people in the crowd is like it's a PS2 game.

These graphics are insane. I’ve never played a Hitman game before, but I’ve been looking into it and might get into the series. I’m a big fan of the stealth genre, and I especially like the open-ended mission design of the Hitman games

I love how the reason for a lack of minimap is because this building was only recently finished, so there are no maps other than official floor plans. Really adds another layer of authenticity.

@B G it only has 6 missions but you have thousands of ways to beat a mission and you have the dlc which puts more 2 so you have about a 300 hours of gameplay

I entirely disagree after the abortion of a control scheme they went with on the new games. Should of stuck with the controls from the old games. I waited on refunding it hoping they would have fixed it eventually. They did not. What mouth breather thought taking away the ability to keybind your gear was a good idea?

I agree. I've gotten burned a few times pre ordering from a studio I wasn't familiar with but I trust the guys to deliver a good game for Hitman.

To be honest, I feel this is no upgrade from Hitman 2.. Just look at 03:00 , the employee at the waterbottles, and the one further behind at the counter has the same look. Same NPC .. With next gen, I had really hoped for more.
@@wrage9633 The maps tend to have tons of NPCs you can't expect each and every single one to have a unique model and besides that isn't even anything to do with graphics or next gen.

The only thing that has really got me bummed out about this game hitman 3 is I haven't seen no gameplay of any shooting at all if I can't use any guns in this game it's gunna be boring I just don't want to be a hitman and just go around chokeing ppl out and sticking them in closets and shit I want to be able to shoot ppl and have missons where we have weapons and shit i love a shooting game don't get me wrong the game reminds me more like max pain but I want to shoot ppl to not just choke ppl out why spend mad money just to choke ppl out if thts the case I won't be buying the game

@@jacobneves7859 If you want just a shooter, no problem, but don’t buy this game then. This is a stealth-focused game, you can’t just shoot and tank through everything like in CoD or something, the focus relies heavily on silence, waiting and stealth.
I wish someone would explore me with such detail.

Game Informer does not have a copy of the game with raytracing enabled. You may want to look up the differences between raytraced and SSR/planar reflections for more information.

Depends, public places might give a false sense of protection as well leaving them off-guard..
While from a story perspective I imagine most of the targets he eliminates are much more elusive and guarded in their private estates.. So ironically the public execution is easier then a private one..

I’m pretty sure that not RTX hitman 2 had that reflection on ps4 and on Xbox one
It was RaybYtaces on the outside of the building. If it was screen space reflection you wouldn't see the balloon in the Reflection. Only Ray traced reflections show reflections of objects not in the screen space.
However inside looked to be a mix of Screen space and RT. Which watchdogs Legions does. Mixed the 2.

@@DroneCorpse has to be. The outside of thr building reflecrion was not screen space. It rendered objects on the glass reflection not in the screen. Only RT can do that.

I’m glad that io has finally corrected the sound effects for when 47 lands you can hear the steps. I’m excited and glad I’ve already preordered hit man 3 along with cyberpunk 2077,which I love playing.
I cannot believe this will be the last of its franchise! To show my support, I've went ahead and purchased every game ever made including all of the extra content for each system.

These game need weapon customization badly. The selection they give us is, honestly, boring. But at the same time, picking up a knife or a screwdriver and using it as a weapon is one of the charm of the series.

Love it BUT why does 47 still walk like he’s severely constipated?
His way of walking is elegant in its own way.
Most of his stances and such are done on purpose I belief.. Just look in Hitman 2 as a example how he leans onto a railing in a attempt to blend in.. You just look at him he is all tense and on high guard at all times never at any point does he actually seem relaxed.. It is kinda part of his character the fact he is incredibly socially awkward in the sense of unable to behave like a normal people does..
47 couldn't behave like a normal person for 10 minutes probably even at gunpoint

to anyone saying they should have innovated more, the last time they did a lot of innovation was absolution and look how that turned out. it's very difficult to drastically change perfect without ruining it. although yes, i do think it's strange how similar it looks to hitman 2, especially the UI.

This game is basically the same as Hitman 2 which was the same game as Hitman 2016.. I heard this game only has 4 new levels or something? I'm still going to buy it since I didn't play those other two games, but it's shady... Also the textures/lighting look amazing, but the animations look last-gen.
its very very similiar, what you get in each new game is a set of exceptionally well crafted and detailed levels to explore, not a huge step graphically or gameplay wise from prevoius entries. Its valid critisism but the level of detail IO put in the game is astounding. And all levels from 1 and 2 will be available in 3

didn't they say this would have raytracing? I see no sign of it in this video... maybe it's the lighting, because for lighting it's way more subtle.
and before anyone tries to say that the reflections are raytraced, no they're not. the windows use render to texture and the rest (floors and other shiny objects) use SSR + reflection maps.
edit: ok so further into the video 4:08 it looks like some dynamic objects (in this case NPCs) are reflected even when not in screenspace, could be a very simple RT implementation or could be planar reflections or render to texture again... hard to tell in motion and with YT compression.
also only the glass floor exhibits these and the rest of the floor uses only SSR
IO Interactive has told us that ray tracing is planned for implementation sometime in 2021. Most of this is SSR like you said. - Alex Van Aken
