- More than 800 doctors gathered in a hall in Putrajaya on June 11, 2019 to air their frustrations over consultation fees which they say have not been revised for 27 years.

3) Ubat2 di Klinik Swasta 100%, 200%, 300% lagi mahal drp farmasi. Boleh turunkan?
4) Selepas ini pengguna akan meminta Klinik & Farmasi dipisahkan seperti dinegara2 lain kerana ada pilihan farmasi lagi murah. Boleh?
5) Majoriti Dr. kerajaan berlumba2 berhenti kerja kerajaan, buka klinik sendiri atau join swasta sbb mengejar laba yg lagi besar. Masih belum mencukupi?
6) Apapun, Dr. Zul, Menteri Kesihatan PH mmg gentlemen. Salute!
Not to forget the doctors who serve in government hospitals. The public hospitals are always crowded like insane, the doctors have very limited time for their families yet they only get paid so less, even the hawker stall owners earn more!

Admiration for the Health Minister who took his time and PATIENCE to let in the frustrations.

true..fair enough, review back the seniors' doctors salaries, allowance, increments & pensions rate too. You may be surprise that national budget are wasted mostly for them!

If PH listen to these doctors and increased the fee, we, rakyat whose are majority compared to the doctors, will not vote for PH. I have a master in Computing with 10 plus years of experience, u all know my salary? U all can guess how much that am getting, the reality is I can’t afford to purchase a house worth rm400k (where monthly instalment comes around rm2k). I am 40 plus with no own house...
How come U hv master in computing cannot get decent pay to buy house? Those nice houses bought by whom?
Pharmaceutical companies and drug suppliers should be monitored closely.
Dah melampau klinik swasta ini..kita dengar saja harga turun tapi bila bayar mahal juga. Tidak kira politik mana menang! penipu saja biaya klinik/hospital swasta ini. Ingat diaorang ni sibuk ke pasal negara..boleh lari luar negara kalau apa2 jadi. Nenek..datuk tak boleh jalan pun pergi mengundi. JANGAN ingat orang hadap sangat dengan undi orang pentingkan diri. Kita undi bukan untuk kocek kita sendiri, tapi demi negara.
Nak tanya, untung jual ubat macam mana pulak? Tak nak kira ka? Ubat harga 2 ringgit jual 8-10 ringgit. Bila perubatan dan pendidikan nak dijadikan perniagaan, rosaklah dunia.
No settle the problem, We all will face major issue in future. Dr want to eat also. Study so hard, their salary is no worthy base on their hardwork. either no many people study in hhealthcare or talent run away. please check how many our healthcare professional run away into other countries. then u all will shock.
Doctors especially the young ones working in the gomen hospitals are really dedicated and professional. They too need to have their plight looked into. They are overworked and under paid.
If you hike up your consultation fees, how can we poor rakyat going to get medical treatment? As it is now, the medicine price has shot up. Going to private clinic for fever or coughing now can cost up to RM80. This exorbitant price is out of reach to most poor people. I share you my experience, I don't go to clinic when I am sick. I just go to the local pharmacy to purchase medicine. And if I need any medicine, I will ask them which one is the cheapest. Generic medicines are much cheaper than the "original" medicine. As least we have pharmacy as avoid treatment in Clinics because of their high fees. (Private clinics often hiked up the price of medicine to make huge profits)
NOW the doctors are petitioning to seek higher consultation fees. This cost will make it worse for those underprivilege poor people like me. Not working, No income. With little money how can I afford to seek medical treatment? If the government approves to increase the consultation fees, it will make overall medical fees so much higher.
Don't be a doctor if you really wanted to make money. Go and open up some businesses.

do a check on all clinics. some are doing pretty well.
If i am not mistaken their clinics are subjected to atleast 2 checks every year by the Moh...sir

Bukan doctors saja work today in covit ..nurses? IT staffs semua staby 24 hours but they dont complain. Its collective effort. All profession will ask for more benefit to be equal. SO government may give more bonus to doctors but not continous...and backed by contract to work to government.

How stupid the doctors can be when you threaten the Minister about voting for them into office. There is one Malay female doctor who told the Health Minister that she voted for PH in Kelantan. Reall silly argument because Kelantan the majority vote goes to PAS not PH. To argue you must make it sound more believable and not like this Malay female doctor from Kelantan.
1 of the least respected professional, no doubt they are the most dependable between lives and deaths, the ruling govt treat these DRS just like cheapskate, idiotic govt of the day, even PH is no better

If you go during office hours, you are supposed to be charged within stipulated fees, your medicine is part of the cost as well.

Unless you want faster service, then private healthcare is better lh. I mean there is a downside to free healthcare. Those poor people who desperately need it, might still have to wait because a stingy rich guy went to a public healthcare facility. I'm not saying is always best, it's expensive. Depending on your situation, you have to choose between price or efficiency.
@@CRenggi Public hospital/Klinik are better and safer than private clinic. This is because when we look at medication safety it is demonstrated by swiss cheese modal when different profession screen to avoid error which does not happen in private GP. In Malaysia, dispensing right was allowed to private gp due to short of pharmacist long time ago but since now it have not been given to pharmacist back yet allowing private gp to give med without pharmacist insight.

medicine in clinic charge more than farmacy. Clinic Dr got more money than other occupation. Dont increase the charge, or milion of rakyat will get angry.

Maksudnya BN dulu sangat bagus dalam mengawal harga klinik swasta sekaligus menjaga kebajikan orang awam (yang lagi ramai). Walaupun tak naik, tak pernah lagi dengar doktor swasta tinggal rumah setinggan, atau doktor swasta terpaksa naik kereta buruk, atau doktor swasta terpaksa buat 5-6 kerja semata-mata nak makan... kah kah kah.
Doktor pun tamak juga.

Doktor doktor ni.. Belajar tinggi... Tapi kenapa tunggu sampai 27 tahun baru bersuara.. Kenapa zaman BN tak buka mulut? Minta klinik 1Malaysia ditutup tapi kenapa tak bersuara semasa Najib umum nak buka klinik 1MALAYSIA?semua sembang pasal consultant fee.. Ada yang kata free... Tapi OPERATION CHARGE tak mention pun.. Sekarang hospital kerajaan pun charge ribu ribu untuk pembedahan... Bukan free mcm dulu... Makin hari makin byk jugak hospital hospital swasta yang baru dibina... Bayaran perbuatan mahal jugak... Mcm mana doktor ni semua boleh kata tak cukup....saya bukanya kutuk semua doktor.. Tapi sesetengah tu... 2 atau 3 kali jumpa baru boleh lega... Sekali pi jumpa.. Tak kurang 50...3 kali 150...klinik panel pun ada....nak jumpa doktor kena tunggu tak kurang sejam... Siap ada cawangan lagi... Yang seorang tu siap ugut lagi... Tak akan undi lagi untuk beliau....mana ada doktor swasta yang charge rm10 untuk consulting... Tak masuk akal langsung..
