  • Willie Nelson performs "Stay All Night" at the Farm Aid concert in Louisville, Kentucky on October 1st, 1995. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

    I've never seen where WILLIE Nelson hasn't ever done any show where he doesn't give all of his beautiful talent the BEST.

      And During certain shows- Willie would play it for song 2, 3, and 4!!!!- Ask anyone who was at the El Campo SilverWings Ballroom circa 1995-96! Turned into a classic Willie Show! even our friend Elizabeth got arrested for getting on Willie's Bus???? Good Times in El Campo, Texas! Damn those Fightin Rice Birds! Caw Caw -

    Tempo is too fast for my liking but hey who am I but a fan. Willie can play that song however he wants. Whiskeyyy Rivverrrrr

      He’s been speeding up the tempo and slowing it down for years. There are probably 200 recorded versions of these songs and damn near none one of them are the same.
