Shaw was exceptionally adamant that his time is not beatable, which means he wasn't humble (while normally he is humble ! This was an exception, which he did knowingly admit). This situation could be a textbook explanation of what 'to be humbled' means.

if you do playback speed at .25 and watch both Brian's and Thor's start..... Brian doesn't start to move his back leg until the whistle.... Thor's leg is already one step ahead at his whistle.... 2 different starting times.

The time stops when the keg hits the ground. Brian was throwing them higher so it took longer to get to the ground. Brian is the stronger guy. Hafthor did it quicker bc he cleared the bar by a couple inches.
