Probably one of the most important surahs in the Quran: It talks about people who are heedless of their prayer and muslim for show and that they are not helping the poor and don't assist people. They can't deceive Allah and that Allah is aware of them.
The first few verses about orphans and poor refers to the behaviour of deniers of recompense i.e kufaar or disbelievers. Towards them The One ( Allah) who created them , gave them life, gave them a form , a body, the limbs, eyes , parents , ability of move around and reflect and Gave them intellect....they disbelieve in Him then how can one expect any goodness from the disbelievers towards poor people when they know that they can do nothing in return for them while a believer knows that recompense does exist .

@@ess7276 I think this can be about anyone, believers or disbelievers. Not all "believers" do right in their actions... not all give to the poor or do right by orphans though they know better... Salaam!
I remember being born Muslim but not being taught Islam, i had a big change this year, at the start of 2023, i kept on getting shorts in youtube abt Islam & realized that i didn't know a lot of things in Islam including how to pray but i was born Muslim, i practiced praying & also trying to practice how to read Quran, i was watching so much youtube videos on how to read Quran & i saw a youtube video, i tapped on it & heard this guy's recitation of the Quran & i loved it so much, he became my favorite reciter.

This Surah is talking about how we should save the the poor from straving to death I almost got poor at age 4 and showing if you don’t help then Allah is aware of them
Always loved to recite this surah without really knowing what i was reciting. Had a phase in life where i thought i'm just praying so i can say i prayed. Always in mind that allah knows best and that i want my prayer to be sincere even if it didn't feel like it. maybe it is iblees trying to put that thought in to my mind. But reading the meaning of this surah now ? Ya allah his blessings are always where they are needed. Alhamdulillah
