Hyunjin comforting the STAY with the sick father in english really makes me cry because it's just so heartwarming that he talked about it and did his best (which was amazing) to send his prayers in english. I really do hope that STAY's father's health gets better and send my prayers.
I'm certain there are some native English speakers who couldn't express themselves as well as Hyunjin did, because they don't know how to speak from their own heart.

Hyunjin tries so hard to communicate in English all the time, he's gotten so good and also so much more confident in expressing himself in English. Yes, I also am so thankful towards him, in every interview that they do in English you can clearly see how much he tries to speak English and how much effort he puts into being able to communicate with all STAYs, not only he but also the other members and I'm just so thankful because learning a language is difficult and takes a lot of time. Also when he prayed for that STAYs dad or talked about how he felt really bad and sorry for that one STAY that lost his/her hearing in one ear I felt so emotional because his hands were even shaking. I think it's because he expresses himself, the same happens with Taeyong from NCT, the more you expose yourself the more hate you get and I think that's disgusting. People just look for trouble or overanalyze things, it's exhausting.
I always think about it as they are just simply jealous and feels threatened by his presence or who he is. That is their fault for missing out on such a fantastic guy(really there is no words how to express how he is). He has given Stays hope, love, happiness, and much more than we could ever think of. People tend to say that he is the daddy of the group(they aren’t wrong) and those who bias him are bottom or something, but it’s different for me. I don’t bias him because of that, I bias him because of his personality. Even if he isn’t good-looking or whatever, as long as he has the same personality, I will still love him. Thank you Chan.

I honestly started tearing up when Hyunjin was talking about how he would pray for the Stays father. You can automatically hear the change in tone of his voice right after he said health. You can just tell that after that he’s already affected by what that Stay said. I’m glad that they had the courage to talk about it with Hyunjin and open up. I feel like that’s one thing Stays can do with Stray Kids that some other fandoms can’t do with their ult or some groups their stanning. We can open up to them and talk about our problems without feeling like we’re going to be judged by it. Stray Kids are the most accepting and loving group to their fans I have ever seen. Yes most groups are like that but Stray Kids are just on another level. For example, Chan goes on Vlive pretty much every week to talk to Stays and give them motivation and to just check in on us. They are so hard working, they had 3 or 4 comebacks last year and preparing for a comeback is very difficult because you have to record the song, compose it, produce it and write lyrics for it (in Stray Kids case) make choreo, learn it so you get it right and make a MV for it, but Stray Kids also lost Woojin like a month before their comeback and tour(?), so they had to re-record it redo choreo and practically start all over again while probably being stressed enough that one of their best friends had just left the group and having a packed and tight schedule anyway. I’m sorry this is so long and I kind of waffled on but I wanted to show people that Stray Kids are different from other boy groups and always will be

i feel like the people who say " kpop isnt that deep " havent really found a group for themselves that helps them so much & gives them as much love as skz has given to us stays. they just need to find a group for themselves that they can call their home, because to us stays, skz are our homes. just like stays make skz stay, skz make stays stay, as well. we have reason to say that for us, kpop is deep, because they have not only given us a reason to live, but they have provided us a home to live in. skz everywhere, all around the world. ♡
I'm 3 months late, but this is so true I wasn't really that into kpop but just a few months ago I came across some videos of Skz and clicked into it and felt as if I connected with them. As if they were my friends through the screen. I love skz so much and they helped me through so much. I hope those who haven't found a group/singer that they like, will soon connect with one or so like stays do with skz.
One thing I love about KPOP, and music in general, is that you can guarantee that there will always be a song for every emotion or feeling you might be having at any given time. Whether or not you understand the lyrics is irrelevant. It's about how you feel when you listen to it, not whether you understand the words. Stray Kids as an example - if you're feeling sad, there is a song to comfort you, if you're feeling happy, there is a song to get you hyped even further, if you're just bored, there will be a song to motivate you, if you are feeling emotional and need something to calm you down, there will be a song for that.

I also feel like that they are saying most of the deep and comforting things in english so that international stays understand them because they actually have A LOT of international fans and that kinda also really touches me because they are not saying this just to be good kpop idols but to really comfort their fans and help them through hard times.
ive only stanned Stray Kids for about a month now and what i can say is that ive never felt such a deep connection with a kpop group besides them. ive been into kpop since 2014 and of course i still stan and adore a lot of other groups, however Stray Kids are just different. I am so so mad at myself that i didnt check them out sooner. But I am grateful to be apart of their journey and wish to see their fanbase grow bigger while also watching them grow as people. I started watching and listening to straykids. I feel like they are the one who are making me sane during times like this. Specially their song. I really love how they treat their fans, us STAYS. I've never seen a group that has a great connection with their fans. I can really feel their dedication and love in everything ther do.

Channie created an atmosphere in which we feel like you know like we can share anything with him, like he won't judge you and like I appreciate that because I struggle with the anxiety of being judged by everyone,including my family, my friends and strangers or acquaintances. So like having that comfortable atmosphere feels really nice
That Hyunjin clip always reminds me why I love Stray Kids. At first, I was expecting Stray Kids to be like all the other groups I've liked before - I would have a very obvious bias, who was usually the only one I could truly connect with, and then I would slowly lose interest in the group itself. This is not to say that any other groups aren't relatable, but rather that no group as a whole has stuck with me. Their music hit me unlike any other artist has. The emotion and passion they put into everything they touch is so heartwarming. But as I got to know every member of Stray Kids better, and I started to look further than who my initial bias was, instead of becoming less interested, I became more and more enamored. I discovered an amazing group of inspiring individuals that I could fully relate to. I honestly can't tell if I actually have a bias since every time I try to say a member, I remember ten moments from every single other member that makes me want to say their names instead. Songs like 19, Hellevator, Grow Up, Voices, On Track... all of them sound different yet distinctly Stray Kids. The feeling of comfort in times of distress is what Stray Kids' music is for me. And so, Hyunjin taking the time to attempt to communicate in his non-native language to a Stay that he'll most likely never get to talk to face-to-face is a moment that always reminds me how much Stray Kids means to me, how they're much more than just an idol group, a boy band - they're our inspirations, our reason to Stay.
This is so touching 🥺💕 stays joke a lot about how we cant choose a bias in skz and I think you nailed the deeper meaning behind it. Each of them has this genuineness i cant explain along with their talents, relatable amazing songs and core message as a group makes us appreciate them collectively as a whole instead of the normal 'choosing a bias'.

L. i think what makes a huge difference for me at least is that i can actually see them as individuals as well, rather than just a group or idols. like yes they are a kpop group and they make kpop songs with really cool choreography but when i look at them i also just see boys who want to live out their dream. i can see the hard work they put into their songs, and i can see how appreciative they are of being where they are, and how happy they are that they finally made it to being a group and an artist. i don’t know much about them and i don’t know what they went through as trainees or what they struggle with but you can tell that they’ve put their entire life into this. and again i know it’s the same for other groups, i know every group works really hard to get to where they are but with them it’s like they are so down to earth, and even though they are careful with their words you can tell that they are trying to be as genuine and thankful as possible. like they aren’t grateful just because they feel like they owe it to the fans, they are grateful because they GENUINELY feel grateful that after all the work they have put in, people are supporting them. basically i can FEEL how grateful they are. so i know they are idols but i see each of them as individual artists and they are really inspiring especially to aspiring artists i imagine. edit: i think a huge way to prove this is how bangchan always makes vlives to talk to stays. and when you see those vlives, you can tell that he’s doing it not just because his company told him to, or because he feels like he HAS to give back to the fans. you can tell that he wants to give back to stays, and he wants to talk with them as much as he can. even when he doesn’t do it as much i can still tell that he enjoys doing those, because he gets to open up and talk to the fans and just be as personal as possible. idols have restrictions and they can’t say everything that comes to their mind but rather than just hide their personality and be as nice and perfect as possible, you can see how they are being as much of themselves as they can be, while also being as respectful and careful as possible. anyways this is long sorry

just listening to Chan or any other member speak about their day or fun little experiences they've had really takes my mind of those thoughts and it really calms me to see the people I love and cherish be so happy and enjoying the moment their in. I think this is "my favorite things that Stray Kids have said in English." Which is fine, they are all great moments. But Lee Know wasn't in here at all. He's just as sweet as the rest of the group, just because he isn't confident in English doesn't mean to leave him out. Remember how he helped I.N. with dancing pre-debut? Or how he saved a dying cat in an animal hospital? Or how he held his umbrella for Stays in the rain? How he cooks and buys late night snacks for his members?
I hate it how a lot of fans see Lee Know as a cold person or as a ‘hOe’. A lot of their Introduction videos made by fans never point out his caring and loving side. All they see him is “MinHoE”🙄.

Stray Kids sucked me out of my dark times. I remember crying every night, not sleeping, and then getting up in the morning to put on my fake smile. that was my everyday life for about 3 years. then when I heard their songs it made me think about how I've never been alone, it may have felt like it but there truly was always someone by my side. they showed me that I be the real me and some people will accept it and those who don't don't matter. I always cry when I think about the things they say and the message they are trying to give us, I am incredibly thankful for what they've done. They are truly my sunshine and I don't know what would have become of me without them. Though I am still recovering from those times and my insomnia still keeps me up at night I know that my smile is real now. I wish they knew how much they actually changed my life and how thankful I am. I love them all and I wish only the best or them.

1:03 my sister is an artist, and she would always draw me on my birthdays. (I've had depressed until I got help recently) Whenever she would draw me, I always felt like those drawings were much more pretty than I actually was. Looking back on them now, I realize that they were all me. Just me. Nothing more pretty, or enhanced. Just me. I am saying this because we have to take care of chan. He may have depression, nothing for sure, but I remember saying some of the things he does when I was in the most severe part of my depression. So, let's continue to take care of him. He may need it more than we think.

Stray Kids is just something different. I know everyone has a "home" group that they always go to when they're feeling down and stuff, but I thought it was just me when I seemed to just feel that "at home" feel with Stray Kids. But after speaking to my friends and people online that I don't know and getting them into Stray Kids, they get that feeling also. I've seen people that had no interest in SKZ at all but once they gave it a chance it was almost an immediate happy feeling. I don't know how to explain it. They're just... different you know?

When I felt worthless like I wasn't enough or didn't matter, Stray Kids and other Stays were there. I have never felt so close to any group before as I am to Stray Kids. They will never realize how much they inspire and encourage everyone all around the world. They have literally made my world become better again. So maybe no one will read what I’m writing but I’m writing anyway: I’ve been a kpop fan since 2008 or something like that, I started with KARA who were my absolute fav, then vixx and EXO since their debut who’s the last kpop boys band I’ve ever stanned. I took a break from kpop for like 5 years and then I discovered Stray Kids. I felt like I discovered something so precious, their music, their personalities etc.... they helped me through hard times with their lyrics and I NEVER felt so connected to a boy band. They are more than that, I don’t like them as a band but as human beings, it’s sounds cheesy but I think it’s pure love ❤️
Stray Kids is the only group I've ever felt personally connected and affected when they're attacked. Like, im not even a STAY for so long. i just started last Nov 2020, but these kids are being attacked not only by knetz but internationaly, because their audience has become that big. And as I follow their journey, they reveal their humanity and even if it meant being vulnerable, they still confronted those. They recognize and acknowledge their mistakes and even when people try to invalidate that, they still keep their ground. Suddenly, STAY means more than a word play for Stray Kids, it's the epitome of commitment and being their support just as how they support us. and District 9 is indeed a SAFE SPACE. ❤️

Hyunjin tries so hard to communicate in English all the time, he's gotten so good and also so much more confident in expressing himself in English. Yes, I also am so thankful towards him, in every interview that they do in English you can clearly see how much he tries to speak English and how much effort he puts into being able to communicate with all STAYs, not only he but also the other members and I'm just so thankful because learning a language is difficult and takes a lot of time. Also when he prayed for that STAYs dad or talked about how he felt really bad and sorry for that one STAY that lost his/her hearing in one ear I felt so emotional because his hands were even shaking. I always think about it as they are just simply jealous and feels threatened by his presence or who he is. I honestly started tearing up when Hyunjin was talking about how he would pray for the Stays father. You can automatically hear the change in tone of his voice right after he said health. You can just tell that after that he’s already affected by what that Stay said. I’m glad that they had the courage to talk about it with Hyunjin and open up. I feel like that’s one thing Stays can do with Stray Kids that some other fandoms can’t do with their ult or some groups their stanning. We can open up to them and talk about our problems without feeling like we’re going to be judged by it. Stray Kids are the most accepting and loving group to their fans I have ever seen. Yes most groups are like that but Stray Kids are just on another level. For example, Chan goes on Vlive pretty much every week to talk to Stays and give them motivation and to just check in on us. They are so hard working, they had 3 or 4 comebacks last year and preparing for a comeback is very difficult because you have to record the song, compose it, produce it and write lyrics for it (in Stray Kids case) make choreo, learn it so you get it right and make a MV for it, but Stray Kids also lost Woojin like a month before their comeback and tour(?), so they had to re-record it redo choreo and practically start all over again while probably being stressed enough that one of their best friends had just left the group and having a packed and tight schedule anyway.

One thing I love about KPOP, and music in general, is that you can guarantee that there will always be a song for every emotion or feeling you might be having at any given time. Whether or not you understand the lyrics is irrelevant. It's about how you feel when you listen to it, not whether you understand the words.
Stray Kids as an example - if you're feeling sad, there is a song to comfort you, if you're feeling happy, there is a song to get you hyped even further, if you're just bored, there will be a song to motivate you, if you are feeling emotional and need something to calm you down, there will be a song for that.

ive only stanned Stray Kids for about a month now and what i can say is that ive never felt such a deep connection with a kpop group besides them. ive been into kpop since 2014 and of course i still stan and adore a lot of other groups, however Stray Kids are just different. That Hyunjin clip always reminds me why I love Stray Kids. At first, I was expecting Stray Kids to be like all the other groups I've liked before - I would have a very obvious bias, who was usually the only one I could truly connect with, and then I would slowly lose interest in the group itself. This is not to say that any other groups aren't relatable, but rather that no group as a whole has stuck with me. Their music hit me unlike any other artist has. The emotion and passion they put into everything they touch is so heartwarming. But as I got to know every member of Stray Kids better, and I started to look further than who my initial bias was, instead of becoming less interested, I became more and more enamored. I discovered an amazing group of inspiring individuals that I could fully relate to. I honestly can't tell if I actually have a bias since every time I try to say a member, I remember ten moments from every single other member that makes me want to say their names instead. Songs like 19, Hellevator, Grow Up, Voices, On Track... all of them sound different yet distinctly Stray Kids. The feeling of comfort in times of distress is what Stray Kids' music is for me. And so, Hyunjin taking the time to attempt to communicate in his non-native language to a Stay that he'll most likely never get to talk to face-to-face is a moment that always reminds me how much Stray Kids means to me, how they're much more than just an idol group, a boy band - they're our inspirations, our reason to Stay.
This is so touching 🥺💕 stays joke a lot about how we cant choose a bias in skz and I think you nailed the deeper meaning behind it. Each of them has this genuineness i cant explain along with their talents, relatable amazing songs and core message as a group makes us appreciate them collectively as a whole instead of the normal 'choosing a bias'.
P. L. i think what makes a huge difference for me at least is that i can actually see them as individuals as well, rather than just a group or idols. like yes they are a kpop group and they make kpop songs with really cool choreography but when i look at them i also just see boys who want to live out their dream. i can see the hard work they put into their songs, and i can see how appreciative they are of being where they are, and how happy they are that they finally made it to being a group and an artist. i don’t know much about them and i don’t know what they went through as trainees or what they struggle with but you can tell that they’ve put their entire life into this. and again i know it’s the same for other groups, i know every group works really hard to get to where they are but with them it’s like they are so down to earth, and even though they are careful with their words you can tell that they are trying to be as genuine and thankful as possible. like they aren’t grateful just because they feel like they owe it to the fans, they are grateful because they GENUINELY feel grateful that after all the work they have put in, people are supporting them. basically i can FEEL how grateful they are. so i know they are idols but i see each of them as individual artists and they are really inspiring especially to aspiring artists i imagine.
edit: i think a huge way to prove this is how bangchan always makes vlives to talk to stays. and when you see those vlives, you can tell that he’s doing it not just because his company told him to, or because he feels like he HAS to give back to the fans. you can tell that he wants to give back to stays, and he wants to talk with them as much as he can. even when he doesn’t do it as much i can still tell that he enjoys doing those, because he gets to open up and talk to the fans and just be as personal as possible. idols have restrictions and they can’t say everything that comes to their mind but rather than just hide their personality and be as nice and perfect as possible, you can see how they are being as much of themselves as they can be, while also being as respectful and careful as possible. anyways this is long sorry

I think this is "my favorite things that Stray Kids have said in English." Which is fine, they are all great moments. But Lee Know wasn't in here at all. He's just as sweet as the rest of the group, just because he isn't confident in English doesn't mean to leave him out. Remember how he helped I.N. with dancing pre-debut? Or how he saved a dying cat in an animal hospital? Or how he held his umbrella for Stays in the rain? How he cooks and buys late night snacks for his members?

Stray Kids sucked me out of my dark times. I remember crying every night, not sleeping, and then getting up in the morning to put on my fake smile. that was my everyday life for about 3 years. then when I heard their songs it made me think about how I've never been alone, it may have felt like it but there truly was always someone by my side. they showed me that I be the real me and some people will accept it and those who don't don't matter. I always cry when I think about the things they say and the message they are trying to give us, I am incredibly thankful for what they've done. They are truly my sunshine and I don't know what would have become of me without them. Though I am still recovering from those times and my insomnia still keeps me up at night I know that my smile is real now. I wish they knew how much they actually changed my life and how thankful I am. I love them all and I wish only the best or them.
So in conclusion, stray kids saved us

this is why i love them. i’ve never knows another artist who is so passionate and genuine about their fans and that i can relate to their messages so deeply. maybe there’s other artists out there but they are the ones where i truly felt something.

1:03 my sister is an artist, and she would always draw me on my birthdays. (I've had depressed until I got help recently) Whenever she would draw me, I always felt like those drawings were much more pretty than I actually was. Looking back on them now, I realize that they were all me. Just me. Nothing more pretty, or enhanced. Just me. I am saying this because we have to take care of chan. He may have depression, nothing for sure, but I remember saying some of the things he does when I was in the most severe part of my depression. So, let's continue to take care of him. He may need it more than we think.

Before I knew them, I never thought that a K-Pop group could bring so much comfort and sense of belongingness. They helped me go through the toughest phases of my life.
Stray Kids is just something different. I know everyone has a "home" group that they always go to when they're feeling down and stuff, but I thought it was just me when I seemed to just feel that "at home" feel with Stray Kids. But after speaking to my friends and people online that I don't know and getting them into Stray Kids, they get that feeling also. I've seen people that had no interest in SKZ at all but once they gave it a chance it was almost an immediate happy feeling. I don't know how to explain it. They're just... different you know?
@Alana Page exacly the same thing happened to me. I used to think BTS had a really special bond with ARMYs that I wouldn't find anywhere else, but Stray Kids have something just... So special. I love these 8 boys

They will never realize how much they inspire and encourage everyone all around the world. They have literally made my world become better again. They were there to pull me from the depths of darkness into the light. I can really relate to you guys and the lyrics that you pour your emotions into. I sincerely could not live without you guys. Please never change yourselves. Everyone is unique and AMAZING in their own ways. There will always be people that love you.

There's so much reasons for me to love Stray Kids but the one I wanted to highlight the most is the fact that they understood me more than anyone else even though they never knew of my existence.
Through their music, it's like everything I've wanted to convey, what I've wanted to hear and feel is always there in Stray Kids voices, lyrics, love and virtual hugs. Honestly, writing this is so weird because I have never felt like this towards other people, only towards them, *Stray Kids* and also *Stays* . So maybe no one will read what I’m writing but I’m writing anyway:
I’ve been a kpop fan since 2008 or something like that, I started with KARA who were my absolute fav, then vixx and EXO since their debut who’s the last kpop boys band I’ve ever stanned. I took a break from kpop for like 5 years and then I discovered Stray Kids. I felt like I discovered something so precious, their music, their personalities etc.... they helped me through hard times with their lyrics and I NEVER felt so connected to a boy band. They are more than that, I don’t like them as a band but as human beings, it’s sounds cheesy but I think it’s pure love ❤️
Stray Kids is the only group I've ever felt personally connected and affected when they're attacked. Like, im not even a STAY for so long. i just started last Nov 2020, but these kids are being attacked not only by knetz but internationaly, because their audience has become that big. And as I follow their journey, they reveal their humanity and even if it meant being vulnerable, they still confronted those. They recognize and acknowledge their mistakes and even when people try to invalidate that, they still keep their ground. Suddenly, STAY means more than a word play for Stray Kids, it's the epitome of commitment and being their support just as how they support us. and District 9 is indeed a SAFE SPACE. ❤️

I'm so blessed and full of joy that I was guided to choose this group to support. I mean we are all humans and there are a lot of artists there that deserves our support and THEIR support by having their talents shown to us for us to appreciate and enjoy, but I think there are really groups that are really meant for you; these guys really sated my love for art and my happiness, such a bonus that they've become an emotional support to people and have such a beautiful relationship and how our bond has grown so much that our love for each other made us like a big family tied up together because of their existence and their work.
