LOW GLOW = No Big Bucks. We have noticed how many more times we film mature buts with No Glow cameras vs Low Glow. Big bucks will walk by a low glow camera once and avoid after that. Good luck in the woods

How long have you had both models that you reviewed? What has been your experience with the reliability of each model? Thanks.
@@freedomisntfree9525 I’ve had every camera in this video since they were released and never had an issue. I believe the older models with sd cards were a good bit of self induced issues on the user end. The new models should eliminate that with the sd card being optional. Tactacam sells 4 to 1 to the 2nd place competitor, so it’s just big numbers that make it seem like they have more complaints sometimes. I’ve never left a review and I have ran 20+ a season without complaints for 5+ years now. Hope this helps!
Purchased a 3.0 pro today. Signed up for account unlimited ($120) year) I’m good with that. But later when I asked for HD and video is said sure 9$ more per month. Am I doing something wrong or did I get a camera that’s WAY more expensive than the box advertised?
@@ZackRobi30 yes. It’s $120 per year for unlimited pictures and 9$ more per month for hd and video. My buddies who have paid the 9$ say it’s not worth the extra money. After having mine for a few days I agree. I’m happy with the pictures I been getting.
When you say covers all cameras on account does that mean I only pay $120 for the first camera then if I wanna buy more cameras I can pay the $9 more a month and get unlimited pics on all the cameras? So say 3 cameras unlimited pics for $22 a month?
@@bobbydenezza7795 it’s optional, but the cellular feature wouldn’t work. To have the camera act as a non cellular camera you would need to remove the sim card and insert an sd card. The $5/mo is the minimum to receive pictures or videos through the app
I have land that is almost 10 hrs away that I want to keep an eye on. With a solar panel can these run indefinitely and do I need to be next to the camera to change settings and subscriptions? Thanks
I have the original tacticam Reveal and just purchased the pro 3.0. Why did they reduce my pic size on the new Pro 3.0. I am totally disappointed losing pic size and not being notified before making the purchase.
@@craigwagner327 we’ve had 20 Reveal X’s in the woods for 4 years straight with no issues. A guy in Georgia posted on Facebook today a time lapse of pictures from his camera where the water was rising, then the camera was submerged, then pics of hogs coming through after the water receded. Pretty neat he was sent all the photos (even the ones underwater) to his phone!
If an animal triggers the camera and it begins to record a 30 second video or whatever you have it set for, how long after that recording is done will it begin to record another video, with the animal still in frame of course?
Does reveal automatically update the firmware and you have to do nothing or you still have to update firmware on the app by clicking something on your phone.
@@craigwagner327 within the app on your phone it has notified me and I have to click I am good with it updating. I am not sure if you can set them to auto or not.
@@reviveoutdoors4him will the battery status bar tell you what percentage your battery is cause I was told lithium batteries will either be at 100 percent or not working at all. There is no in between

In your opinion, do you think the tactacam reveal 3.0 x low glow light would be an issue with spooking deer vs the reveal 3.0 pro that has no glow light? If not, I will but the 3.0 reveal x cause it's cheaper

If you phone has the ability to download apps then it should be fine when you download the reveal app. If your phone does not have the ability to download apps but has an internet browser you could login to your account through the link above and view it that way.
If you don’t need an SD card, and if you’re using a rechargeable battery/solar panel, don’t see how/why you would need to change batteries???? Isn’t rechargeable-solar panels the whole point ? Not to go back and mess with it? Thx
@@reviveoutdoors4himit seems to be a moisture issue, I pulled a few cams I had out this summer and 2/3 that died after a week with good batteries, had water inside.
@@payakadventures I run them on no delay and only switch cartridges out about every 3 months in my medium traffic areas, and every 6 months in my low traffic. In my high traffic areas it depends on the cell signal, but usually 1.5-2.5 months, but those are areas I am replenishing corn every week anyways so its easy to swap them on one of the times I go to that spot

You have to pay an additional $9 dollars a month (covers all cameras on the account) to have XTRA active which allows you to do said features.

Crazy is 2.0 has HD video on demand. They took a step back on 3.0 to make get PRO seems like. Confusing bc Bass Pro I think says on demand.

The X-pro 3.0 has a low glow that you can see with the naked eye at 10ft
Lithium cartridges are terrible in my opinion. Never had one last 2 weeks and yes it’s tactacams

Energizer lithium batteries are the best.
Contract on camera service sucks unless you up grade to the max . Security cameras will take the market .
