Great report and thank you for the lure information, I have tried lake Huron with some success also St. Clair River. I think a spring trip to south west Lake Michigan is worth a try this year
I agree, I have hit Lake Huron and the St. Clair River but have never gotten into them like I see on these videos from Lake Michigan. Need to plan a trip.
Yes, usually water will start to get mid 40s and the alewives will stack along the shoreline to spawn. This will last 3-4 weeks then when the alewives push offshore post spawn so do the coho and the "run" is over. Most years it starts last week of April through May 15th.
Awesome video!! Can't wait to see you get after 'em this spring!
Awesome video!

When the coho are thick it's definitely worth the trip!

Good job Jordan. It’s going to be an early run this year; I’m thinking Milwaukee area 2nd week of April. Are you doing charters then? Thanks 😊
Ill be in China for 10 days starting April 3rd, but other than that as long as the weather allows ill be out there :)
Awesome 😎 🎉
Where do you normally put your snap weights to get the dodger setups down into that top 10' of the water colum?
when do you decide the run has started? Warm weather, like consistent 45 degrees, or maybe water temp goal?

@@CastNReelWisconsin thanks. I’m out here on the Lake Huron and the same happens over here. Mid 40’s and they’re hot for a few weeks
Jordan, what is that color of flicker minnow and where did you get it. I can't find it on line.
Thanks
@@johnblindauer1586Fleet Farm sells them. Saw a bunch in the clearance rack.
What are your favorite colors for the coho run?
