About the Harima thing: The translation I read said in that part that "He's like that guy from Harima" and the translator notes say that Harima is the name of a provice many years ago (maybe 1000?) and it's name nowadays is Hyogo. The notes also state that Harima is the "hometown" of exorcists, aka sorcerers. Maybe Yuuji and his family, from his father's side are desendats from the original sorceres giving the grampa from chapter 1 more significance when he said to Yuuji to not look into is parents. It could also be that it was Yuuji's mom the desendant and that is why Kenjaku took over her body for the plan. The plot thickens XD

He’s not a cursed spirit. Even was even show when Mahoraga hit him with his positive cursed energy blade. He stated if he was a cursed spirit it would have killed him. Sukuna has ascended humanity and cursed spirits. Which is why he says both are weak in last chapter.

Sukuna is not a cursed spirit, so no, he never could. You also have to be stronger than the curse you're trying to absorb so he'd either have to wait for Sukuna to be almost dead or somehow beat him.
I wonder if the Death Womb Painings were actually an experiment in which Kenjaku could create his own Vessels to take over one of the strongest out of the paintings some where down the line based on which ever one had the most potential. He could hand pick techniques and on top of that, transfer his teqchniques PERMANENTLY instead of relying on the one time use gimmick (only being able to use the ability of a special grade in his possession only one time) of Getou’s cursed technique. Maybe his focus on Yuji is due to the fact Sukuna also has a body hopping technique, however doesnt have to risk transferring bodies in such a dangerous way, where the host has to either be dead or on the verge of death to be able to take over them. If Yuji does keep all of Sukuna’s abilities, then Kenjaku could copy sukuna’s entirety while also having 4 techniques from 4 different clans at his disposal. I have an idea about Hajime. He seems to have lived throughout the Heian Era to Modern Day. Since his innate technique is freezing perhaps it’s more intricate than simple matter freezing but conceptual freezing. He might have ‘frozen’ his age in place so he could live to see Sukuna again. This would be a more OP ability considering he’s likely someone on the level of a Special Grade Sorcerer, being Sukuna’s bodyguard/someone he respects

Gojo is not infallible. Riku was "this close" to beating gojo if not for the surprise reveal about purple and the new technique. Sukuna has bore witness to all of gojo's technique and then some. Sukuna will beat gojo, it's a non starter, it will be someone else who defeats sukuna. This is what i love about gege, it's not all powerscaling this and that, Strategy matters. We've been shown repeatedly via doughnut what happens when a character fights without all the intel and the resounding L that usually follows. This will happen to Gojo 100%, It's his purpose and likely the final shove to yuji's enlightenment.
I don't think Yujis enlightenment will be what we expect. I think he will somehow unlock the new cursed energy Kenny's been baffling about, then Kenjaku will try and take his body or smth and we get Yuji and Co vs Kenjaku and Sukuna. I thought of that as well but it's unlikely, in my opinion, due to Mahito having Cursed Technique to manipulate it. Won't you need that Cursed Technique to do it? To manipulate your body like that? Gojo is not infallible. Riku was "this close" to beating gojo if not for the surprise reveal about purple and the new technique. Sukuna has bore witness to all of gojo's technique and then some. Sukuna will beat gojo, it's a non starter, it will be someone else who defeats sukuna. This is what i love about gege, it's not all powerscaling this and that, Strategy matters. We've been shown repeatedly via doughnut what happens when a character fights without all the intel and the resounding L that usually follows. This will happen to Gojo 100%, It's his purpose and likely the final shove to yuji's enlightenment.
I don't think Yujis enlightenment will be what we expect. I think he will somehow unlock the new cursed energy Kenny's been baffling about, then Kenjaku will try and take his body or smth and we get Yuji and Co vs Kenjaku and Sukuna. Perhaps he could become a vessel for the Tengen cursed spirit or just unlock it on his own as that's the purpose of the death paintings.
