Just curious, were these animals housed in different rooms at this expo center? It seems like you'd be running a big risk of unknown illness and cross contamination.
The animals were kept in separate areas, yeah. The reptiles and the fish each had their own hall, then the dog, cat, bird & small animals were in another, bigger hall (each had their own section within).

I want to know it's name, it's gender, where in your menagerie it will live and if you've already discovered any personality quirks. Living vicariously here, lol. I have zero pets. My cat died on Monday. He was 18 years old. But it's all I can do not to go get another kitty cat.

I'm pretty sure shinglebacks aren't able to be captive bred as of now. They can barely even be sexed.
