Little Willow - DreamingWalrus (Paul McCartney Cover)

it's been a month, i know. i wanted to cover a happy song, i started recording a beach boys song then i got a terrible cold. I lost my voice for a while. I still don't feel fully recovered even though I feel better. however I didn't feel like recording that song anymore and while I was recording rhythm guitar for another song I found myself singing "little willow". the lead vocals and guitar were recorded together in one take which I wanted to keep so I wasn't able to mix them as well as I wanted. At first I wanted to keep it acoustic but I couldn't resist and just added some backing vocals, piano and bass. i have always loved this song that Paul wrote after the death of Maureen, ringo's first wife. I don't know why, but I felt the need to sing it.
