We get to see as well as hear his vibe & energy the ONE Jah Rasta Far-I energy is the one heart one mind one love music & spliffin' comkes to my mind when I hear this. The guitarist is the best i've seen him with live...very happy with this upload :D

This is not Montreal Jazzfest which is held in Montreal Canada.
This is Montreaux Jazzfest in Switzerland 1979.
It's called Montreux. In the new casino which was rebuilt after a fire destroyed the old one. 'Smoke on the water' of Deep Purple is about that event. Also Freddie Mercury lived in Montreux. There's a statue of him on the waterfront.

Dennis Brown wrote his own material...he made 78 albums for 37 different record companies sometimes making 7 albums a year...in his 30 year career...no one else has been that prolific... fair enough he did cover some tracks but who in reggae hasn't...I can name a few reggae artists that wrote their own material 🩸🦻🦠

Chris. Ii have to share with you about PETER TOSH. I have been listening to his music for over 50 years. I was exposed to his music from I was 9 years young 🌱🌱. I'm just 60 years young 🌱🌱🌱 right now..I have been to all his shows if they were held in jamaica land we love 💕💕. I have been to his last consert in Kingston Jamaica in on this date 12.31.1983 in to the new year of 1.1.1984 that is when the show ends.then after the show ends I run into HIM in the parking lot putting the instrument in the back of his car 🚗🚗 it was just him alone there so I cleared my throat so that I could alerts him but he never turned around to see who was coming.chirs .I told him that we the YOUTHS love what he is doing. His response was the middle passage made HIM.

Ras Edmundo Yeah, now youtube and other sights give us the possibility to listen and watch what we choose, that was not the case before internet as you know..... So music video clips, songs, movie trailers etc. were/are considered as adverts, if you want your materials to be exposed to the public through the media (tv, radio etc) you have to pay, the more you pay the more they play or show your materials. So the tv stations, radio stations etc generally did/do not have choice, they are get the money and they get to work. Anyway it is almost same with youtube as well.

Peter bore the brunt of police brutality for fighting for the legalization of herb. He was the first to have the balls to sing legalize it and light up on stage to reinforce his point. When the Jamaican government banned the song his took out block Adds in the national papers in which he printed the lyrics of the song so that the people could see what he was singing about. Legalize it became an anthem all over the world. REGARDLESS OF WHAT ANYONE SAYS< PETER TOSH IS THE FACE OF HERB, MOST CERTAINLY NOT BOB. Bless

peter tosh is the most underrated reggae artist ever yet he is better than the lot even here in jamaica his songs hardly plays on radio what an insult to the great man
Because he not singing about PUSSYS.
They hardly play his songs as those who were in a position of power and influence then were mentally enslaved when Peter was alive and to this day, some are still trapped in this mental slate. They still have not woken up from their slumbering mentality, as Peter would say. His music was largely focused on getting them to look in the mirror which they could not face. Despite that his songs are still being played all over the world as more people of varying ages come to know his music decdes after he left this world and I am sure he knows it. THEY CAN'T KEEP A GOOD MAN DOWN.Bless
