This is a perfectly usable phone in 2024 with custom rom. This has been my backup phone (main phone is a 12 mini) and everything works fine with lineageos android 13
My favourite phone since my childhood but I can’t get that because at that time I was a kid can’t afford this mobile now I can but I can’t find this mobile
I had a Nexus 4 when they first came out and a Nexus 7 tablet I couldn't afford the Nexus 5 when it came out😢 I wonder if there is a custom ROM to bring it up to date 🤔
Would try eBay, sometimes Swappa, and occasionally Amazon renewed. Otherwise will be hard to find honestly given that it's no longer produced/supported.
Good morning! You think it's okay a Nexus 5 for my Mommy? She needs WhatsApp and Videocalls...You think that's ok for simple operations? Many years ago I was a Nexus Fan with my Galaxy Nexus!!!
Good morning. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend as a daily phone. It’s no longer supported by Google given how dated it is. I’d recommend other options though for only a handful of operations. Google A series devices for example would be a good newer option and supported for years.
Life was simple back then
Beautiful phone, i miss it.
Same! It's such an excellent form factor and it was a great device overall at the time.

I had it. Wasn't a great phone. Google didn't support it well at all.
