Florida State University: Campus Life

When you are not in class or studying, you can find plenty to do at Florida State University. Many students enjoy relaxing with friends in one of our 14 residence halls. Students can attend free movies, go bowling, attend one of the university's many athletic or artistic events and much more. Students also have access to many resources to keep them safe and healthy -- like a state-of-the-art fitness facility and an on-campus health center.

I graduated from FSU in 1973. They had a women's sychronized swimming team, but at some point they disbanded that amazing activity. They tore down Magnolia Hall, which is where my girlfriend (who became my wife of 43 years) lived. They built a Library Science building where Magnolia Hall was, and now that is gone. FSU holds for me both sweet and bitter memories.

When i saw this campus,i felt amazing feelings at the code my Heart, really amazing, analytical, spontaneous, more passionate life.how beautiful if i wish i am student here,somehow its so distinguish me about my life when i thought what do to my entire life?only one word i could use that's nothing. It's not real life.

FSU is okay, for certain things but if you live on campus its going to be horrible for you. Unless you like loud douche bags and idiots at 3am screaming and yelling because they're drunk. Plus, its not so safe if you're a young woman to go out alone. Always have friends with you. Homeless people live near by too. There is a shelter right across from the music department of FSU. So its common to see them bothering students. Locals avoid the campus areas like the plague! So if you care about meeting anyone that actually lives in Tallahassee, try to check out areas around town. Lots of stuff to do besides partying. Oh, and don't try and talk back to TPD is you ever have to deal with them. They will not tolerate BS from Students. They will show you no mercy. Unless you're apart of the football program. Then they'll give you some slack, but don't push it.
