Coolest encounter, that re-entry into atmosphere with flames outside the window was AMAZING

Just did this for the first time today and someone accidentally started the encounter and the guy was just explaining it as we were doing it and we got it first try lmao... favorite raid encounter ever
yeah it's an easy encounter but i love it!

Actually the dopest thing I could ever expect. I love how menacing "Prevent Europa's Destruction" sounds. I had no idea that the Crypt would be a bloody space station, that you crash into Europa, and it's not even the end of the raid, you still get to square off with bloody Taniks again! Frigging awesome
Crypt isn’t a space station. Crypt is where Clarity Control is located (Darkness statue). Space station is there as an insurance card in the exact scenario that we encounter: secret is revealed? Blow up moon.

I personally think it would be satisfying if when you fail this encounter you get a short cutscene of Europa exploding. I think it would be cool.

I'm so glad Taniks was used for this encounter solely because they had the chance to use the Shadow Thief BGM one last time

that's why i always tell my friends that fallen raids will always have a special place in my heart!
@@RudexTheInvincible That plus they usually show exactly why the Fallen are a legitimate serious threat capable of keeping up with the likes of the Vex, Hive and Taken despite not having those otherworldly powers that they do. Which reminds me, didn't they almost successfully invade the Vault of Glass at one point?

The visual details of the Morning Star's fall from orbit sell this encounter for me. Aside from the re-entry flare, I just now noticed that there is a canopy or something protecting the windows that is ripped off in the early stages of re-entry. Such a small detail but it really adds to the intensity of an already fun encounter.
And if you look around, you see sparks from circuits and stuff breaking
I love the chaotic order in this encounter. Yes there are mechanics but everyone scrambling around makes it look so intense.
