i was very sceptical when i ordered my fuel injected fuel twostroke. i was worrying that it wouldnt be that much fun to ride like the carb model. but when i rode it for the first time it just reminds me of an perfect jetted bike. if they are reliable and they should be because its more or less the injection of the four strokes they are really awesome bikes ! also in weight i feel no difference to the previous 2017 model. although i´m a fan of simple technique im very impressed about those ktms/husqvarnas

In 2012 I wrote a research paper in a college class of mine about efi an the revival of the two stroke. It's awesome to see that pipe dream alive an well.
I want Husky/KTM to make a 500cc, fuel injected two stroke for us silly, nostalgic Yanks! We would buy up every one we could get our hands on. That's a fact.
Bro I second that. I'm an Aussie living in Japan I ride in the alps here. I have ridden BIG BANG ball tearer 2 strokes since I was a kid. Love the Yamaha it 490.. KX500 CR500s Having my arms pulled out of their sockets under throttle made me squeeze the Sum bitch harder and give it a fist full!! BRING BACK the MONSTA 500cc 2 bangers!!
If they put TPI on a 150, I'll be buying one. Going from sea level to 5300FT. Even though my jetting is dialed TPI would make a world of difference for me.
Other than working the bugs out. This has goto to be a positive for two stokes future. The only real negative I see is what's happening to four strokes today where there locking up the programming.
While I love the development $$ going into 2T's the writing is still on the wall for them and this will only a delay the inevitable. Sooner or later the enviro laws will kill 2 strokes. I will hold on as long as possible.
From what I hear the FI makes them very clean burning and efficient so it will actually make them comply with enviro laws. That's the main reason they are doing it. Besides cleaner burning and better gas mileage, I hear it smooths out the power too which some die hard 2T guys might actually not like. The oil is also injected so it's a controlled amount rather than guys mixing it at 60:1 because they think it runs better like that even though it's smoking like crazy.

nuked nuked well I am 55 just got second hand 300i and its doing 50mpg I love runs like a dream tbh
