I had very good luck at Atlantis in the Bahamas, myself. Hit several nice jackpots on Triple Double, playing Dollar VP, catching a Royal, then Four Aces with a Kicker, and then four Three’s with a Kicker...all on the same machine, and very close-together. LOVE the no-tax form concept. Racking up the win on the win meter was music to my ears!❤️
A truly adorable video....thanks for sharing. Glad there time for a moment of a kiss. Looks like the perfect destination for gamblers who have outdoor interests. Unfortunately many young couples have sad scenes when traveling together to gamble. This was quite refreshing and uplifting. Cheers!
It amazes me how people who dump thousands on vacations slam and bag on gambling, when it's idiotically simple for anyone to learn basic strategy on the low-vig games...resulting in all-inclusive vacations with great rooms, great food, entertainment and amenities all paid for through "comps," AND ONCE IN AWHILE hitting a crazy streak...heading back home with with a FAT WALLET TO BOOT. Nothing like it in the world.
Hey Andrew. Been binge watching you last few days. I'm more of a blackjack first then poker player. But I I'll add video poker to my list. Before I do though, going to watch a few more hundred hours. Don't give up on channel. Your family is awesome. I'll see you one day.
It don,t matter how you play it works for you ! Just keep cashing those tickets and the casinos should respect a winner. I love when you hit big and they question your payout ,However when you lose they are happy? I would love to break them!
Great video, loved seeing your success with video poker on a large scale. Also, love the music and intro to your videos. I know I'm in for some exciting video poker, if only vicariously! :)
Yes it is. It's only $40000 because it is a 10-credit bet at $5 denomination. If it was a 5-credit quarter machine the same royal flush would only be $1000.
@@Slotmassacre I feel the same -- sometimes I struggle to hold the kicker, ugh. I try to think of it as a one-card royal draw, just looking for that one card, but I STILL find it hard to hold AAA2 for example. With triple triple they only go up to $1 where I've seen it as well. It seems kinda mind-boggling that it exists!
Triple double is a ridiculous ride but I played a lot of DDB for a year and a half so it didn’t feel too crazy. I’d have to be a masochist to play Triple triple for more than 10 minutes!!
@@Slotmassacre Agreed it's pretty crazy! I saw a crazy one today: double double bonus deuces wild. (ddb regular awards for natural aces and 234s, along with a natural 4 of a kind award of like 100 I think and then the whole deuces paytable. It was a LOT) Thinking about proper strategy gave me a headache.
I’ve played it for 17 years now but casually and $1 level. I started more seriously in 2016 an built up $5k or so and haven’t had a losing year since. Albeit I’m Way above my EV.
Why wouldn't you have asked Atlantis for a cashiers check for the larger payouts to avoid declaring all of that cash? Safer too. I won almost $20k on Blackjack there once (started with only a few hundred) and asked for $15k in a check.
i been thier many times. unlike taxes w2G here. if you got a machine that builds to say 6k slow..you can just cash out..on a fast 4k hit. they will always confirm....they were slow for 2 reasons..bamahas....and making sure you did not cheat as most dont win 2 40k jackpots so fast . never had a problem getting paid thier..been going thier since 1980.s both islands..many blackjack games were cashed out alot higher than 40k back than. and machines were horrible than also
Great video man congrats! That’s a trip of a lifetime. Are your winnings totally tax free or do you have to claim it when you get home? Never hit a jackpot out of the country, just curious
Not taxed but the casino called the airport and reported me to see if I would claim the money. If I didn’t they would get to hold it and make me go back and fight to get it back. Also, from my understanding a recent change has been made to reporting laws and confiscations. The machine would simply pay out a ticket for anything under $10k it was GREAT.
I'm certain that this has to claimed regardless of a lack of a W2-G. I always wondered how the gaming TH-camrs handled taxes. This is why it's super important to use club cards whenever possible. Win/Loss statements can save your ass at tax time. Any of the net losses will balance out that massive win. My question with TH-camrs is, since you have a monetized account, can all expenses (travel, hotels, cameras, editing software, meals, entertainment, etc.) be claimed as a business expense and written off? Since it's all content it would seem legal but this is the reason I can't make any money doing what I love.........paralysis by analysis. LOL Keep up the content!
It’s claimed for sure. It was reported to the irs. I bet my wins and losses out each year and since I play so significantly I can set this up pretty easy as a business and write off expenses for sure
That was a really nice video congratulations my only complaint is I wish you would’ve hit the credit button to cash so people can see how much you were winning I know you pulled out the ticket and showed it to us but it would’ve been nice if you Would have hit the credit button it must be nice to be rich and be able to do that how much taxes did you have to pay
Wait - I was at the Atlantis in June 2019 and walked by someone who hit 40k on 4Aces w/ kicker. Was that you? lol During that trip I held 1 facecard and got a Royal Flush. It was only 2k but I was still happy :)
VIdeo poker is the exception where pay tables, strategy and of course a little luck from time to time can change that. House still has an edge but played right, can do very well over time. My last two vegas trips are each plus $10,000 on VP.
Eventually, yes. But if you play video poker optimally you can keep recycling the same money through the machine over and over losing just .01% or .02% over all. You have fun, and get some really nice comps like free rooms, free play, free meals, etc. It takes a lot of nerve though because it's a rollercoaster ride of high highs and low lows.
thats amazing we go every year and last year we actually left ahead so loved it i did record a lot of slot videos there no one said anything to me about it but i wasnt winning 40k hits either the cove is my favorite hotel their very nice i cant wait until they allow us to come back to the bahamas

Yes it was fantastic. Works the same in Canada too, eh 😆
@@Slotmassacre ....Canada doesn’t tax the wins, either? I was not aware of that.

Now THAT'S my kind of vacation!
How did you get all those cash out from the country?
It was scary to be honest. I should have taken a check but I took 890 Benjamin’s through customs

Wow especially you took a flight and not by boat! No declare here I’m sure.....next time tell them to wire it.
Curious.....did you insert a player's card during those jackpots? Thanks!

Great video awesome win what a rush you were on!
I bet the hardest part was getting home with the money.
Deff what it felt like
Very Nice Video with a Mix of the Vacation, and those Tremendous Wins!! Always, Always be careful 🙏🏻🙏🏻especially when Traveling Internationally.

Amazing hits, I'd be so nervous that they would ask me to leave. You did great, congrats!
They have sent me incredible offers to return but didn’t ask me to leave. Another $40k would have probably prompted that result.
@@Slotmassacre Ohh i wish you could show video of the offers they gave you, I'm sure we'd all love to see even that!
Wow! Payout for getting a royal flush on the draw: $40,000. The odds of getting a royal flush on the draw: 1 in about 40,000. Coincidence??
Yes it is. It's only $40000 because it is a 10-credit bet at $5 denomination. If it was a 5-credit quarter machine the same royal flush would only be $1000.
Can't you just buy a watch or something then flip it when you get home?
There are better ways for sure than what I did. You live and learn.
Do you always hold kickers for triple double? And have you played triple triple at all?
You are supposed to...I don’t always😱 I’ve played triple triple some but haven’t found it higher than $1 stakes that I can remember
