Me too-Found one of his videos last week and he is all I have been watching. I just love it. He and the wildlife are very enriching to my life. I am home all day, so I will see all the videos.
Yes I remember seeing him snatch it real fast from him before😉 But I know he’s getting more n more comfortable with him lately so it would be so wonderful if he started taking from his hand like the others, but if he don’t that’s fine too. Woody will always be Woody, the way he stands up like a bear lol😁

I LOVE patience she is my favorite baby! Peppers babies were hungry when they arrived climbing on your legs. They just couldn’t wait to eat. Thank you for taking care of all of them and helping the mommas to feed the babies.

Woody does get his fair share. It's that he has so much anxiety and is afraid of the kits. He's not used to humans just like any other wild animal and is just being very cautious.

Many countries have culled their entire mink and fox fur farms because apparently at least minks can transmit covid to humans very easily. I wonder if that's the case with raccoons.

We had 2 females with 2 babies each a few years back...the mommas didn't really get along but 'tolerated' each other at feeds...then sadly one momma got hit on the main road a block from us, and I was in fits worrying about the babies.....Two nights later, they showed up with the other mom & her 2 like they were one big family!!-- and they were still at that 'still kinda nursing' age. I was DELIGHTED!! I just wonder who's baby Pepper found? What was the circumstance of her finding a lone straggler....

I'm amazed how different each raccoon is....some are gentle, some are patient,. some are cautious, some wash their food, some are selfish. One day, Woody will come to Jim. just watch!
He did once. It was about a week ago or maybe ten days. I just remember it's at 430 in the video. He takes it from his hand and runs away faster than you've ever seen
And people don’t realize with that many raccoons it gets chaotic and crazy, you don’t necessarily know who got what but you do the best you can. I feed a large group every night and I do worry some got more then others but the complainers probably aren’t feeding so they shouldn’t criticize.

How hard is it to wear one temporarily esp. if you don't need one for work. Buddy ran away again but at least he came back for a bit to fill up. Patience and Sammy are bottomless pits!

The same thing here in Ontario! If you don’t wear a mask when you go in to any place or you’re walking around it’s an automatic $2000 fine. However, I am a nurse and have to wear a mask all day long! It’s so uncomfortable in the hot weather!😐. However, we have to keep everyone safe!! Thank you 😊

I think people were upset because they know Woody won’t take food from your hands. He’s a wild animal. Yes, it’s cute that the others take their food directly but some will never do such. No point waving it front of him when he just won’t come. As long as he’s getting food, that’s all that counts.

I am glad he built courage tonight to get food. He did take a hot dog from James one time, for some reason he has trust issues, no telling why being wild. He needs help with that.

Jim always makes sure he gets a hot dog even if he doesn't take it from his hand. People should not be saying he doesn't get fed because in every video woody gets fed just as well as the others.

I know how much Woody eats because he is my favorite and I have my eye on him every night. LOL. He eats very well every night thanks to Jim!!!

We are so very greatful that u have love to care for the precious animals and to take the time to reach out and spread the joy and love.
