I remember her at the Moniuszko Competition in Warsaw, then in Kudowa Zdrój and the Jan Kiepura Competition, where she sat on the jury alongside Maria Fołtyn, Bogna Sokorska, Halina Słonicka. They are all outstanding Polish Singers and Singing Educators ... She was great, with a great vocal culture, and a great singing teacher
I heard her at the premiere of the then new Otello at the Met in 1972, she was nothing less than glorious. Her Boheme and Butterfly were unforgettable, and her Donna Elvira was peerless. Thank you, lovely lady, for the joy and beauty you gave us. Rest In Peace.
