So I have a newer ford ranger with 33” tires. Think I could make it out there?

If you have All Terrain tires like KO2s for better traction in the sand and 4wd I’m confident you can make it through the sand. Don’t forget to air down a little bit.

What time of day were you filming at the Chamber?

Do you need 4WD to to get to the trailhead?

Yes, it’s very sandy so a high clearance vehicle is a must. You can rent a RZR in Kanab or book a tour to take you!

I still could recommend a 4WD vehicle just because it is very sandy on some areas of the road to get there. There are many people who go there so if you do try and get stuck, i'm sure you wouldn't have to wait long for someone to pull you out!

Better have 4 wheel drive Jeep and high clearance or pay $600 to get out. Never seen deeper sand. Need to lower air pressure in your tires as last resort.

Hello , We will be in Utah in may and will be driving jeep wrangler . Do we have to remove air before going on the drive or when stuck. We are also planning to carry a portable device to fill the air .Sorry for the silly question im new to off roading 😢, dont want to spend a fortune on tours.
