This was the last movie that both Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau worked together in, but it was the first movie I seen them in. I first saw this movie in 1999 on a travel bus. I have seen them in this movie, the first odd couple movie, Out to sea, and Grumpy old men, and Grumpier old men. May they rest in peace.
I love these two!😃 They made one hell of a pair. Everytime they got together they lit up the screen and made me laugh so much. This was the last time they made a movie together and it is classic. These two knew how to do real comedy and not this crap that they make nowadays. This is real comedy.
Eh, I prefer Tony Randal and Jack Klugman since they have more connection due to them being in a series, but Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau do make a great Oscar and Felix.

Shame they didn't have the other poker buddies make cameos. All except Herb Edelman (Murray) were still alive at the time of filming. David Sheiner (Roy) is still with us today at 95.
Both guys are legendary. Walter & Jack can never be replaced. Unique talent. A gift to us all in so much laughter.
Even though they hate each other, they love each other. That's always a sign of a good relationship.
