People don’t get the most basic thing in coach: window seat gets the window and 1 armrest, middle-seat gets TWO armrests and the aisle seat gets 1 armrest and some extra legroom. People always try to pirate my armrests when I am in the middle seat. I mean come on; it’s already the shittiest seat. Have some decency.

I purchased the aisle seat specifically so that I can get up and go to the restroom with ease, as well as stretch out my legs. Was like nah thanks, I like my seat. On another occasion while I was in the restroom, a woman literally got up from her seat and took my window seat. I was like what are you doing? Her excuse was she needed more room to sleep and wanted me to sit in her seat 🤣🤣. I swear I thought it was a prank and we were being recorded. Had to get the flight attendant to get her to move, after she threw a fit.

Thats actually totally legit tactic that I use a lot. Get drunk and stoned before flight so you can crash balls when on the plane and not have to deal. Just make sure you dont reek of weed lolz

Flying in the US is particularly uncomfortable because every airline sucks. I've flown them all and either you get stuck on the tarmac or your plane gets delayed or if you're flying Southwest you get separated from your family because there's no assigned seating. It's all a big c**********
I remember being about 8 years old & flying to Florida from the UK. It was my first time flying & I was on an aisle seat on the left hand side right in the middle. In the other section of coach was a water cooler but fixed on the right hand side & the easiest way to get to it was to walk up the aisle a few rows & cross over from the front row of the next section which had an extra 2 1/2 foot extra leg room so someone moving across was no fucking inconvenienced to them. In the space of an hour I must have got up 3 times. Once for myself the other times for my family. The fourth time a woman on the row shouted at me “no, you can go round the other way!” I went back & told my dad & he essentially had a Larry David moment where he got up & ripped into them “it’s no inconvenience for you to let someone walk by to get some water. You don’t own the fucking plane” Back then, pre-9/11 squabbles on planes were normal & weren’t treated as a law being broken.

I've flown hundreds of times, and I've never had a situation this annoying or obnoxious. There was once a free seat in the middle (I had the aisle seat), and the guy sitting at the window invited his friend to sit there. I nipped it in the bud immediately. Not gonna happen. The secret to resolving most issues is just to say no.... and mean it.

I flew a lot when I was younger, and just once my uncle treated me to a first-class seat. It is SO much better, it is indescribable. There are lots of funny things about flying. I once had someone come up to me and yell at me for taking their seat on the plane because they specifically wanted the window seat that i was sitting in. I told them its my seat and they started getting even more furious. The flight attendant came up and had to calm them down. A few seconds later i showed them my ticket and they were in the row behind mine 😂
Its an honest mistake and its easy tk get confused. Ots easy to blame the person for getting worked up but its a stressful situation. Id like to blame the airlines for creating such environments rather than the fliers. But then again i like cheap flights because of the wide difference in airfares. In summary, stay home if you dont want to meltdown or be exposed to the general public. Honestly if youre on the plane at all youre just as big of a part of the problem.

I also prefer the aisle seat, so I can get up without asking someone to move. If someone wants to change seats with me, I throw out some absurd price to switch. That gets rid of them pretty quickly.
Once I was dreading this kind of situation on a flight to Malaysia from Chicago, it was a long haul, the longest leg was going to be 14hours or so on the same plane. Who would sit next to me? How bad could it be? Ending up getting booked in economy with not a single person in the row, window seat, lifted the arm rests and laid down. Air host sat and talked to me at one point, gave me a bunch of free food and snacks in a to go bag, and we ended up meeting after the flight and hit the town together. 10/10 would fly with Air Malaysia again (If they still existed RIP)

Flying in the US is particularly uncomfortable because every airline sucks. I've flown them all and either you get stuck on the tarmac or your plane gets delayed or if you're flying Southwest you get separated from your family because there's no assigned seating. It's all a big c**********
I remember being about 8 years old & flying to Florida from the UK. It was my first time flying & I was on an aisle seat on the left hand side right in the middle. In the other section of coach was a water cooler but fixed on the right hand side & the easiest way to get to it was to walk up the aisle a few rows & cross over from the front row of the next section which had an extra 2 1/2 foot extra leg room so someone moving across was no fucking inconvenienced to them. In the space of an hour I must have got up 3 times. Once for myself the other times for my family. The fourth time a woman on the row shouted at me “no, you can go round the other way!” I went back & told my dad & he essentially had a Larry David moment where he got up & ripped into them “it’s no inconvenience for you to let someone walk by to get some water. You don’t own the fucking plane”
Back then, pre-9/11 squabbles on planes were normal & weren’t treated as a law being broken.
Only Ed Begley, Jr. can deliver such a cold line with life threatening consequences and make it logical.

i once booked a window seat in a cab on my trip to mountains.. and a woman kept bugging me saying she has motion sickness, i told her i have it, and i can't control mine.. but she kept insisting, and people around started bothering me as well and throughout the journey she just sat there peacefully, lied about her sickness.
Sadly for her.. I wasn't lying.. and i threw up all over her clothes..

I usually wouldn't mind moving, but sometimes i pay extra to get a specific seat, and at that point, no way i am moving.
For those that claim Coach is nowhere near this, consider yourself VERY VERY lucky to not have two randomly annoying travel passengers with two different angles. It happened to me before, and I can feel Larry's suffering.
I've flown hundreds of times, and I've never had a situation this annoying or obnoxious. There was once a free seat in the middle (I had the aisle seat), and the guy sitting at the window invited his friend to sit there. I nipped it in the bud immediately. Not gonna happen. The secret to resolving most issues is just to say no.... and mean it.

I flew a lot when I was younger, and just once my uncle treated me to a first-class seat. It is SO much better, it is indescribable. There are lots of funny things about flying. This reminds me of a Seinfeld episode (I think) where a stranger sitting next to George or someone says, when they hit some turbulence, "Hello, my name is Bob Nelson, and I might be the last person you ever talk to."

I once had someone come up to me and yell at me for taking their seat on the plane because they specifically wanted the window seat that i was sitting in. I told them its my seat and they started getting even more furious. The flight attendant came up and had to calm them down. A few seconds later i showed them my ticket and they were in the row behind mine 😂
Its an honest mistake and its easy tk get confused. Ots easy to blame the person for getting worked up but its a stressful situation. Id like to blame the airlines for creating such environments rather than the fliers. But then again i like cheap flights because of the wide difference in airfares.
In summary, stay home if you dont want to meltdown or be exposed to the general public. Honestly if youre on the plane at all youre just as big of a part of the problem.

I also prefer the aisle seat, so I can get up without asking someone to move. If someone wants to change seats with me, I throw out some absurd price to switch. That gets rid of them pretty quickly.
Once I was dreading this kind of situation on a flight to Malaysia from Chicago, it was a long haul, the longest leg was going to be 14hours or so on the same plane. Who would sit next to me? How bad could it be? Ending up getting booked in economy with not a single person in the row, window seat, lifted the arm rests and laid down. Air host sat and talked to me at one point, gave me a bunch of free food and snacks in a to go bag, and we ended up meeting after the flight and hit the town together. 10/10 would fly with Air Malaysia again (If they still existed RIP)
