I think it's amazing how the Red Wings have used the exact same logo for decades without making any changes or even minor tweaks. Just goes to show you don't mess with perfection.
It's crazy to think the two teams that lost in the Conference Finals in 1998, both made the Final in 1999 and damn did Philly and Boston give Buffalo hell for over ten years during the 80s and 90s
Were the playoffs just seeded 1-16 during the 70’d and early 80’s rather than having 2 1-8 conferences. Cause watching this it looks like the two conferences change every year.
Briefly, yes. '75-'79 the 4 division winners had byes and then 5-12 were seeded. '80 & '81 was purely seeded 1-16, and then divisional series returned in '82. (They did also re-align frequently with teams moving a lot during these years!)
I firmly believe that if RyJo hadn't gotten injured in the WCF or if Ottawa scored rather than Kunitz to end the Game 7 OT, Nashville would have won the 2017 Cup. Alas.
Yo why the F does one team play two times to make it to the Final and all the other team had to do was win one round to be in the Final? And why the team that played more still win? Too much rest? Like WTF! 😂
Because it was either 4 to 6 team league until 1968. The higher you finish in the regular season often came with a bye in the playoffs. Most of these "original six" teams cups weren't that impressive to win. Sorry Montreal.
Carolina won the easiest 4 playoff series I've seen, them and Tampa Bay's first cup. Orchestrated by a greedy NHL wanting their sunbelt teams to win to grow fans.
never thought anyone would make the exact video i’ve been trying to find for years
That's why I made it
Can you do the NBA & ABA ?

1949, it is tweaked. The Canadiens logo is even more unchanged.
I want to go back to a conference playoff Format

Karma for cheating Vegas out of a game 7 win
@@rileykazama3145Vegas cheated the Sharks out of game 2 if you want to go there. So in that case, game 7 shouldn’t have even existed.
It’s because they scored on a hand pass goal
@@CutieCult yes it’s cause of that controversial ending that the Sharks were cursed to eternal failure.
