I agree with you in regards to a large print for the wall. I visited Africa several years ago and fell in love. It was a mission trip where I met my beautiful family that I help support. I have a bedroom that I have made my Africa room in their honor. Wonderful job.

I have so many supplies for other arts that I will have to use them instead, but I know how they work. Its ok, my interests are unusual so I will have to skip the ready made focal objects and draw my own. Your videos give me courage and motivation to wait for my thumb to heal. Who would think a thumb injury could sideline a person.

Cool idea. When I was a kid in the 50's, my mother used this same product to decorate a table and chairs for me and my sister. At that time, they were called decals. Maybe they still are. I can still see that furniture in my mind's eye. I loved the cute animal images she used. Happy arting!

Wow, these are beautiful. What a cool technique. Again, your creativity amazes me every time you create a page. They are always so unique. I always love the quotes you use too.
Oh my goodness... every time I watch you work in any sort of journal I want to run home and play!! Then I get home and real life and responsibilities take over...I need to MAKE time to do this.
Once a week ... maybe Friday night while watching a movie.... just playing with color... don't go for something specific or finished... just put some color on a page and make a few backgrounds. It's a great warm up excersise and you will have something to stick things on the next week!
@@vickyp that's great advice! And making backgrounds is something I adore! I love stencils and love paint, I love glaze, I love ink... All of that is just my jam! Evenings are usually rough for me because coming home from a long day at work... But I'll try to give it a shot this week, if not Friday evening first thing Saturday morning cuz I don't sleep very long. For instance it is 1:32 in the morning now and I've been up for probably three hours. I'll give it a shot this weekend! Thank you Vicky! I appreciate your encouragement

I remember playing with “Decals” as they were called when I was a kid 50 years ago so I was intrigued when I saw them at Joggles but alas I took way too long picking and choosing and all but a couple designs are sold out. Those transfers are fantastic Vicky. Love the little tag book you created too. I have a similar die from Marlene that you demonstrated some time ago. The little journal I made was so tiny I forgot I even had it. It’s now sitting on my desk waiting for me to create. Thanks again for the wonderful inspiration you always manage to achieve. What a wonderful piece of info about you! You were born in Africa, very interesting!!!! I remembered you said before that elephant was your favorite animal as a child, you have done an elephant art journal in the past, you called it "Balance", so you inspired me to make an elephant page back then, and my page style turned out to be just like the one you made today!!! My colors were dark and bright with yellow, gold red and purple. I loved that page and I loved that you inspired me to do so. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration to me! :-)

Fabulous!!! I love them all but the cover is my favorite. For the silhouette of the African woman you could scan it into your computer and enlarge it for a bigger project. I've done this many times with stamps that are small for cards but I wanted to use them in an art journal.

They are exactly that! Designs could be used on pots, trays, furniture.... but I use them on my paper projects 😃
