  • This is a new avenue for us, both in filming and in life in general. I thought it was fitting to help tie and conclude the story of "Hi 6" together by showing you guys how I do my Taxidermy!

Yes!!!! Curved needle works best for me too!!!! I like the little bit extra clay work too. It does help define muscle groups well. Also hide paste and clay together seems to hold the cape/skin in place better to prevent drumming. You do great work Jeff. I've finished a bear and a buck recently. Now working on my fall bow buck then a full lifesize mount of a bobcat I shot this past winter. Maybe we'll see eachother in Augusta!!!!!!

Nice job, he’s looking great. I’ve been doing my own taxidermy lately, I mounted my deer a few years ago and I just recently mounted my bear I shot last year and I’m gonna be doing my last years deer here soon. It is very time consuming but I love seeing the finished product

How long do you have once you add the clay to the form to get the bid on and get things tucked?

    • @CalmBeforetheStormME

You got some time. You can always wrap it in a trash back and keep the air off of it to prolong the drying process as well
