Jason - Would you be able to make a video answering how much SH is needed for a roof wash? 1000 Sq ft, etc.
Impossible, so many factors to count in, every job is different
Anywhere from about 15 to 25 gallons of mixed
Would you guys recommend one of those hooks that attaches to a ladder? So I can climb up a steep roof on the ladder? What are your guys thoughts on that
The problem with those are it's pretty heavy
Honestly I wouldn't use it without bolting it down. I've had these come unhooked due to material breaking off the roof and I've had workers accidentally dislodge it. So while we all make fun of OSHA, there is logic & wisdom to their requirements on this one.
Don’t worry screw that bracket down . That’s why they make sealants . Plus it’s on the ridge if it were attached near valleys that would be different . The siding crews here attach right through brand new roofs less that a day odd .

I have always wondered this as well. What sealant do you recommend after removing the screws?
I would also put the screws back in with sealant around the threads and on top of the heads. It’s four holes or your life. Sue me if you want, I know I’ll win!
Should really measure roof pitch from the ladder near edge and configure anchor, then use the ridge anchor wheels and extension pole to safely place the anchor on peak and tie in to harness, before ever stepping up onto the roof.

What sucks is that you'll still need to walk on a insane pitch to put it on the top 😅

They make a pole that you can use to push the anchor in place, or you can buy a pole from your local hardware store.
Screw that thing down. Ridge vent won't hold that. I hope your not really using it like that because you don't want to put caulking
The ridge vent isn't what's holding it. It's your weight being distributed on both sides of the roof slope

sorry but as a European roofer I'll pass on trying to screw through concrete tiles and then explain to the homeowner why I've put holes in their roof sealed with mastic that has a shelf life of a lot less than the roof tiles themselves.
I love how with all the safety shit they make you set up that you have to rush the set up because after 15 min I guess you're twice as likely to fall.
