Building a 1/18 scale parking lot for my friend

Hi,
My good friend Luke is a collector and a photographer of 1/18th scale diecast car. He hired me to build him a medium size base so he could use his backyard for perspective to take pictures of his cars.
In this video, I'll show you the entire process of building this diorama and at the end, I deliver it to him.

What color paints did you use for the parking lot asphalt? Looks very realistic.

I started with a coat of flat black then I applied a coat of "faux granite" textured paint.

It's a blend of flat beige and flat grey (2 cans sprayed at the same time) from Krylon.
