Since I'm a beginner I've been reading online articles and watching endless videos about making macrame bracelets, but the thing is I don't know on which cord should I start with. Is it 0.8 mm ones or the 1.0 mm? I hope anyone can give me their idea about this.

You video was clear and simple , extremely helpful.
It look so easy when you use the lighter to burn off the ends. When I did it with my bracelet, the end knots unraveled. Do you have any suggestions to prevent this
I am using satin rat tail cording
I am so disappointed with my results and hope you can help
To restate: my problem is trimming and burning off the ends to keep the knots secure
