This guy is either buying used shoes and dropping them in mud or he lives in some weird area where people compulsively put on overpriced shoes and go jumping around in tidal flats.
@Squigga 123 He's buying used shoes to begin with and with these kind of shoes, a little wear will massively depreciate them. He's probably leaving them in the mud for just a couple of minutes, cleans them up and either resells or maybe gives them away. These shoes no doubt go on to lead a normal life just as they otherwise would have.
Those worms are called meal worms, and they only look like that when they’re bred at pet stores and packaged into little containers and sold for reptile food. I assume they were put there.
@Gregory Bloem I don't mind spending a lot of money on good shoes. But that's more like $200. Only a crazy person would spend thousands. Unless, of course, they own a shoe museum and the shoes in question were once owned by Elvis Presley.

Proud Filipina here! I found some Nike Air Max 90 Crepe's (not as amazing as the Warhawk) at the bins in LA. The midsole has some crumbles so I need to swap the bottoms so instead of selling them as beater shoes and since it is the 30 year anniversary of the Air Max 90's, I'm going to try to fix them. Now to find a pair of size 9 Air Max 90's soles/bottoms! Yahoo!
