Thank you for sharing this. It's fascinating to see the "real" Alice's direct descendant and lovely to hear such a well spoken lady reminisce over the past. It's terribly sad that Cuffnells was torn down and one can now only imagine what it was like to enter the great hall and see the original manuscript preside on the table she speaks of, and which she still uses today. It's also interesting to know that Redwoods grew in Hampshire, and I'd love someday to go to the park and see what is left of it.
