I just did it right now.. and it worked!!! You just have to be patient adjusting and pressing until you get it right. I’ve been suffering for almost half a year with my loose down zipper jeans, don’t even want to throw them away because it is one of my fave. Thank you so much to the one who made this video. Thank you 🙏 I used your video and just repaired the slider on my favourite Rab zip up 🤗 It’s a different zip to your jeans one. I applied your principles and used a pair of pliers to squeeze the sides of the zip slider together. 😊

My Superdry jacket zipper was somewhat different and didn't have any parts that moved on the outside, all was happening below the middle piece, and the two bits that we see here holding the middle piece were not there either and so I just squeezed each end of the brass middle piece a little and it was the same, squeezed both ends again only with a little more pressure and it was the same and then after the third squeeze it now works as new! Thank you. If I remember, this was taken with a lumix gx7 at 1k. I now use a lumix gx8 at 4k. At higher resolution you need a lot of light and I use both portable led video lights and regular house hold led bulbs. It was the lens that came with the camera plus a 2x closeup ring.

Hi! What if the zipper doesn't have that part you just tighten up?
It is a brass zipper? Some of the others, like nylon, are very different and this won't apply. There are also non-locking zips which don't lock.
I had no idea the zipper even had that extra function. I have been zipping up my pants wrong my entire life!!!!
