It’s not just the car it’s the track. Mt Panorama or simply Bathurst is the most famous racetrack in Australia. It’s an insane track. You basically go up, across and down a mountain. Watch the video “this is Bathurst”. One of the best Bathurst explanations you will ever see.
Kyle Busch might have been a loose chance until the team his team was friendly with imploded. His team Richard Childress Racing had made connections with Erebus Motorsport in Supercars, Erebus won 2023 championship with Brodie Kostecki but he had falling out with his team and missed the first 2 race weekends. The top 3 sponsors left the team. He came back and did well but couldn't make up the ground lost by missing those races. He and Todd Hazelwood won at Bathurst this year though. They've both left that team now ,along with 2 engineers to the same rival team. Brodie has Nascar ambitions and has raced in the USA before in lower levels. He might be Australia's next Nascar guy.
Good clip guys . What should happen is a few more nascar champions should come over and do a lap or two of bathurst track with one of the bathurst champions.
NASCAR cup cars are faster in a straight line because they have less downforce than the V8's. The extra downforce of the supercars makes them better at cornering and braking, and therefore faster around a circuit.
DW was a "professional" car driver in the USA, yet this lap scared the SH!T out of him. 😮😁 "This is the toughest thing I've ever done!" Says it all about NASCAR, really... See FAMILY GUY's analysis of NASCAR. 🤣 But huge props to DW for experiencing a real lap! 🥰 M 🦘🏏😎
Interesting someone who stole a tv networks content has the ability to get you a copyright strike. The 7 Network held Supercars tv rights at the time, Supercars own TH-cam channel should hit him, its clearly their content.
This is why Australians get along so well with you Americans. Our differences unite us. But our hearts are in the same place.
Well put 👏

Waltrip played the whole thing up and it was as funny as hell.
Trust me, that's how DW is all the time. Growing up watching NASCAR on FOX in the 2000's & 2010's that is 100% how DW is all the time
This was done in Brocktober! RIP the greatest car racer ever!!!!
It's a geological oddity....
😅😂😂
Thanks guys this was an awesome video. Brought back memories and I could see exactly how my boy felt! 🥰🤣🇳🇿
1 lap of Bathurst is just under 4 miles the 1000 is 161 laps up down and over the mountain
Long time Australia 🇦🇺
Listen to Peter Brock talk his way around Bathurst 😅
"you can't race on a track like this"
Aussies - Hold my case of beer....
I think Darrell isn't used to be a passenger at speed.😅

That was a good one guys!
American = Geological oddity. Australian = It's a big hill
You can just tell how much Will Ferrell based Ricky Bobby on Darrell

I had to watch this again (and again) to make sure it wasn’t
Will Ferrell
Haha that was funny 😂
Did you know NASCAR has announced since Trump's landslide victory all oval tracks will be raced in the opposite direction next year ........😅
