However even though its optional to pay the upcharges, the fact that they exist hacks me off to the point of not wanting to go at all. And I'm saving a ton of money living vicariously through TH-cam

Lightning Lane is just another example of Disney nickle & diming guests for something that was free for years (fast pass). At this point Walt would be beyond disgusted with how his parks are being managed..
We would travel from CT to Disney World when our daughter was little as often as we could. We moved to Florida( an hour away from Disney world) 16 years ago and haven’t set foot in Disney World. Way over priced!
You say that but when Disneyland and Walt Disney world both opened you had to buy a ticket for each ride now you can ride each and every ride as many times as you want.

Lucky we went for a month and a half during summer and we go for a month and a half every 2/3 summers but next summer is our off summer I’m super sad. :(

My husband grew up in France and his favorite meal was Raclette. They have these machines with individual pans where you put onions, mushrooms, and lardon (small pieces of ham) and then melt the cheese over it. Then you pour all of that over a smashed boiled potato that you put butter, salt and pepper on. It's so good. And I agree that raclette smells gross like feet, but it tastes so good.
Poor Jenn didn't get to go and try all the new booths. Darn i usually go this week but had to move it to end of July and this makes me mad that those booths were open now. Also how less crowded it was. Well next year I am moving back to florida so I can go to the next one😊. Thanks Trackers ❤

The Genie thing has caused some kind of an uproar, but people don't remember that Disneyland has been doing that for a while. When I went in 2018, you had to pay 10 dollars a day for fast pass. The only thing is this is this seems like with the lightning lane thing it's gonna be more expensive.
Question. I am not from FL and I am not an AP. What if I pay the $15 a day to utilize the Lightening Lane (LL) pass and then I sign on the day I am going to use my LL and the only time I can get my LL pass for Big Thunder Mtn is 7 pm. So now I can’t get another LL pass until I have ridden BTM so the LL pass doesn’t benefit me all day long! Of course I am basing this scenario on how we got to pick our fast passes. But I cannot see how that is beneficial. Especially on a “after hours/party” night when MK closes early. Thoughts?

Tim you should always try Indian food out there. They Americanize it by not adding too much chilli... so more flavor should be on offer generally. And try out Chicken or mutton Korma again with a Naan at an Indian restaurant you will definitely enjoy it. And Kulfi Falooda for desert it's an acquired taste but, if you like mango lassi you will enjoy it too. Or Kulfi icecream.

My main complaint with the new lighting lanes isn’t even the price, I just hate the fact that you constantly have to be on your phone trying to book reservations and rides and checking wait times. I like to just go to the parks to walk around and plan as I go and disconnect from my phone, Dont wanna be staring at my screen half the time I’m there !
You should buy a rackette cheese cooking thing. It’s so much fun. Great for a dinner get together. Cook sausage on top. Melt the cheese and put over potatoes. So yummy.

I have one question with genie plus , do you have to purchase genie plus to get the premier rides or can you just purchase the premier rides with out genie plus?
Unrelated to food, I miss the pre-smartphone days of WDW where it wasn't necessary to plan out your whole vacation. My parents and I used to come once a year, and we never had to plan anything. It was so nice to be able to just go and stroll around and be spontaneous.
First of all I love your videos. You are the sweetest little family. It would be nice if you would show the alcoholic beverage choices for those of us that would like to see the selections?
Korma is a pretty standard dish for Indian food. It’s in different proteins so it’s not a big deal but remember Indian cuisine doesn’t have any beef as the cow is considered scared in their culture. It’s usually lamb which the most common, chicken, or pork which they had to do with them adapting slightly to western tastes. Just remember most Indian food tends to go towards the vegetarian side as that is very common. That drink is so common in Indian food that it’s made in huge quantities just keep up usually in different flavors. Always order a little bread with an Indian meal as that would be the tool to actually eat that food not a fork and knife and use your hands as tradition says. Sometimes you have to forgo what you know to get it in your face.

You should buy a rackette cheese cooking thing. It’s so much fun. Great for a dinner get together. Cook sausage on top. Melt the cheese and put over potatoes. So yummy.

Unrelated to food, I miss the pre-smartphone days of WDW where it wasn't necessary to plan out your whole vacation. My parents and I used to come once a year, and we never had to plan anything. It was so nice to be able to just go and stroll around and be spontaneous.

Korma is a pretty standard dish for Indian food. It’s in different proteins so it’s not a big deal but remember Indian cuisine doesn’t have any beef as the cow is considered scared in their culture. It’s usually lamb which the most common, chicken, or pork which they had to do with them adapting slightly to western tastes. Just remember most Indian food tends to go towards the vegetarian side as that is very common. That drink is so common in Indian food that it’s made in huge quantities just keep up usually in different flavors. Always order a little bread with an Indian meal as that would be the tool to actually eat that food not a fork and knife and use your hands as tradition says. Sometimes you have to forgo what you know to get it in your face.
