There is a visual error in the thermador section of the video. The phrases “less expensive” and “more expensive” appear beneath the Pro Grand and Harmony series and are reversed (wrong) from how they are supposed to be.
Looking to buy a 36”gas range either SKS or monogram and trying to decide on a griddle or all burners. I recently had a wolf 24” griddle but rarely used it as it took too long to heat up. Can you tell me what the preheat time is on either of those or any thoughts you may have re my dilemma? Thanks for this channel. It has been wildly helpful in the renovation of a new home.
I don't have the preheat times for either....but will be working on more user friendly content in the future. I like the SKS all gas a lot, so easy to use.
I’m on LP gas. What range will give me the highest BTU for the stovetop burners? Been really disappointed with my kitchen aid 36” commercial’s power on lp gas. 20,000 btu for natural gas, but only 13000 for lp.
I like the SKS. You didn't mention the broiler is infra red. Which is a nice feature. It also has the largest interior capacity of 6.3 cubic ft. I wander why you skipped on these important features.
@@YaleAppliance1 I don't think the new all gad Monograms do have infrared broilers. I am not sure about the rest. As an aside, l went from a diel fuel Miele to all gas Monograms to SKS all gas. And l will have combi single wall oven. I was very disappointed with the Miele and Wolf burners which l strongly considered. I do wok cooking sometimes. The Wolf and the Miele burners do not have that capability. Then l discovered the SKS. It had almost everything l looked for, and relatively less expensive. All plus!
Weird, what about folks that look for info on Kitchen-Aid, Frigidaire, Thor, LG, GE, etc. These ranges probably require making your wife get a 2nd job to afford - then she will not have time to cook, clean the house, and keep your bass boat waxed.
I don’t have a gas range but at this point I’m just addicted to Yale appliance videos. Send help.
Well, we will feed that addiction roughly 3 times a week

Good question.....

BlueStar...25,000
I think they're all unique but some are more in demand. I just wish the prices were a little lower?

Good point. But all the pro ranges feature infrared. JennAir may be the only one without

@@YaleAppliance1 Thank you for responding.
5:51 typo that doesnt match words on screen stating Less Expensive and More Expensive.
Bluestar and wolf are the two winners in my opinion.
What do you think of Thor?
Ummmmm....Not my favorite
why no JennAir?
They don’t carry Jennair
We did for years. We were the first with their new displays. The company hasn't changed since its big launch 7 years ago.
No Jennair or Viking?
Nope
Viking is extremely unreliable.
In summary, there is no clear standout in an all gas range.
If only Bluestar would do an inferred grill instead.....

Frigidaire, LG, GE dont have 36 inch pros....
None of them. They are all a ripoff.
All of them?
