Hopefully no one is too pissed at me for the reload. Anytime you don't see a thumbnail, it's gonna happen. I miss the groove thrash era of Overkill. This album sounds like recorded by gimp producers in 80'. Production lacks dynamics, but I'm sure, these songs are great live, with more dirty * meaty sound. Still my fav thrash metal act. Great job with video man.
You mean 1999-2007 era? It's actually their worst one, today's Overkill is doing best thrash of all bands.
no way, this is one of my favorite albums, it is sooo loud and Thrashy and the solo on this album is one of my favorites. this is a fantastic album
That's odd, because this feels way more groovey than their 80s stuff. There are a lot of harsh stops and starts and classic key change stuff and mismatched riffs forced together in their 80s stuff. Which is sort of what thrash is all about.

@@chroscielewski Killing Kind's decent, but FUAB also sucks. The same following of Pantera's trends believing heavier automatically means better, unmemorable riffs, underwhelming solos, Bobby singing on autopilot. I'd rather have Overkill doing what they do best than having them play something they clearly don't get and probably don't even like (nothing from late 90s/2000s is present on setlists anymore, aside from Necroshine for some fucking reason).
