I’m From Shreveport and I played High School Football For Evangel from 1999-2001 and We won The State Championship and the National Championship finishing number one in the nation.. We used to Beat Ruston by 30 plus points and we played West Monroe at Independence Stadium and we had a record crowd for a High School Football in Louisiana History!! Times have changed because West Monroe never lost to Ruston in my day.
My dad always has followed wm and from time to time i follow them. The problem, imo, is that those wm kids think it will automatically come to them be suse they have that uniform on. The players got very complacent and don't know how to put games away now
Ruston isn't close to being a senior team, WTF? 3 DL were juniors and one sophomore. Both beast linebackers were sophomore and junior. 2 DB's were underclassmen. Offense has a 6'4" 210 phenom backup QB who is their top DI prospect on Joshua Brantley who will dominate. #9 Hayes the backup RB is special. Their offense will be more electric next season than this one. The only big loss is #1 Jackson and #6 Davis. That's it. The only two big hits. Ruston will be the favorite for the state title next season in 5A nonselect beyond a doubt. WM fans most delusional in the state of LA.
@@georgegaskin6809 never said anything about the streak. I spoke to you insisting this was a one off event because Ruston is a senior laden team. That isn't close to true. Ruston has been trending up for years while WM has been trending down. That is just data. For 4 years WM hasn't gained the transfers or taken ball players from Ruston, Neville, Ouachita, ocs, etc. There is no desire to play there except for white flight alone. Ruston is LOADED. They are young and they have better players in the wings. Ruston will win next season and the season afterwards. WM should never lose to Neville, Ruston or Ouachit having enrollment double almost all of them just about. Neville is doubled for sure. Ouachita has 1100 kids and Ruston 1300 or so. WM has 2200. Live in the past. Just try and not stay there.
