I contributed to the Fandom by making a club in my highschool! I met a lot of nice people. And it Is awesome there are bad and good things, but people just need to realize it is a good fandom.
It has been 31 days since I first became serious about joining the furry fandom. I try to contribute to the fandom by subscribing and liking creators and videos that I like. I tried to draw Fernando like five times and shared the (admittedly terrible) art on Reddit. I chat with the other furries at Furry Central on Discord (but I can't really use the voice chat, because I'm introverted like that). And I upvote furry art I like on Reddit regularly. I wish that I had the spare money to donate to the furry fandom, but I'm 16 and don't have a PayPal. :(
DeviantArt is another great place to support furry artists of all types. People tend to be scared of the site for its public reputation but it's really not that bad. Most people who post nasty and lewd things have mature filters, and it's generally just a place for artists, writers and animators to hang out, thus making it a pretty awesome place for furries. Plus it has its own currency that you can purchase art and commissions with.
I just want to say this as a newcomer to the fandom: these videos are amazing and are really helpful in helping me ditch the shyness and find ways to meet a ton of interesting people. Thanks a ton for that! Hopefully I'll be able to lend a hand at a local con whenever one comes around. It sounds really fun and it's WAY better than sitting on my behind.
#QNA hey pocari! I bet you havent heard of it, but theres a new law in austria banning people from covering their faces in public areas. The law was made to not make the autrians feel uncomfortable because of refugees wearing hijabs, niquabs and burquas (i hope i spelled it the right way), but it also bans people from waering scarfs around their faces or skiing masks when its cold, wearing motorcycle helmets when not driving, and it also bans public fursuiting. So far, the law has been very strict and a woman wearing a scarf and a mascot for a store in my town got into a hella lot of trouble. Exceptions are made on halloween, fasching (a austrian holiday similar to halloween in february) and when theres a convention in town. I would love to hear your and other peoples opinions on this issue... Greetings from Styria/Austria
One way I like to contribute is helping new and younger artists who need help. I know I’m not the greatest artist, but it’s a nice feeling knowing I’ve helped someone with their art skills. Even just hopping into public chats on amino contributes to the fandom a lot. I found myself feeling alone one night, I created a public chat and I ended up with new friends!

I'm gonna say yes and no. I'm sure that you can get a payed job as a photographer at cons if you tried enough, Especially at a smaller con. Maybe a per photo guy. But I will also say no, because there will not be enough cons or people around that want a high quality photo to make it a full time job. If the money is not a concern volunteering as someone who goes around the con taking pics for there Twitter or Facebook can work as well. But be for warned that photography especially moving into professional photography gets expensive fast. But if this is what you want to do, then do it. (This reason that I got known as "that one guy, with the camera" in my local group.)
Definitely! You can take photos and videos for furries and get paid! You can look into it and you can also get a job as a photographer at a convention!

Not sure if this is the right video to ask this (as in should one ask a question in the comments of a Qna video or if one may ask in any of your amazing videos), but; #QnA I'm *blind* without my glasses, and am awful with contact lenses (took a month of trying to get one in), so how and what should I do about fursuit heads? For my fist proper suit (almost properly made at least) I built the face around my glasses so I could wear them comfortably with the head, but I forgot about ventilation and they steamed up almost immediately when I got outside, so should I try that so I can actually wear my glasses, (but with much better ventilation this time ) and see if it's any better, or should I try harder to be good with contact lenses (which will be a much longer and painful, unmotivated process)? Edit: I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem 😅

Ugh, I'm a 12 year old girl (on my dads acc lol) and I have 3 siblings all older than me so i feel like if i tell my parents that I'm a furry they'll somehow find out and make fun of me. And because my parents don't know what a furry is or that i am one I feel stuck and that I can't go out to fur meets or cons. I also live in Scotland and I don't know any other furries here but I do have friends who support me which is awesome. You don't really need to go out of your way to contribute to the fandom. The fandom exists for the good of the people, the people don't exist for the good of the fandom. Just being there and having fun is contributing enough.

I contribute to the fandom by running the local furmeet. We are only a small island and theirs not many of us so I decided fo be one to get us together. I was 16 and had never attended a meet when I hosted my first one 😵😂

Ugh, I'm a 12 year old girl (on my dads acc lol) and I have 3 siblings all older than me so i feel like if i tell my parents that I'm a furry they'll somehow find out and make fun of me. And because my parents don't know what a furry is or that i am one I feel stuck and that I can't go out to fur meets or cons. I also live in Scotland and I don't know any other furries here but I do have friends who support me which is awesome. Otherwise this video really helped for ideas that i can do when I'm older thanks Pocari! ❤ (sorry for being really late as well lol)

You don't really need to go out of your way to contribute to the fandom. The fandom exists for the good of the people, the people don't exist for the good of the fandom. Just being there and having fun is contributing enough.
I don't have a suit but someday I might think of getting one once i stop growing (I'm in my teen years and I'm thinking I will wait like a few years and when I'm like 21 or so and if I still want one in like 6 years that means it would we worth it)
