Omg this story got me crying my eyes out. I lost my dad a year ago and he is an orphan child. Reminds me his story he use tell me as a kid growing up. 😭
Such a sad story. For stories like this, I would like to see the face of this evil human being. What does he look like for being such an evil person to tear the mother and her children apart? I'm glad he eventually faced his judgement with her waiting at the gate. Make my boil listening to the mistreatments from this evil man. 😡😡🤬🤬

I hate the old OG ways! This story brought back many memories of when my father passed away. My father's side of the family; grandparents, Aunties and Uncles moved from the Midwest to California. It was a big ole mess because they tried to take the five of us with them. Lucky for us that my uncle, my mom's brother told them they can't take us. If they take us, my uncle will call the police and report that they kidnapped us. I have always thanked my Uncle for being a strong man and standing up against this stupid Hmong custom. Especially because this happened during the early 1980s. When I got older I understood why he did it. He grew up with his father's relatives and was an orphan because the relatives wouldn't let his mom take him. Thank you, Uncle!!!

So glad your uncle helps your mum and your siblings. Some family members are scared of hmong reputations so even they wanted to help you they will just stay silent. So sad... hmong culture or religion are sometimes very aggressive and unfair!! 😢
