- I am an ex IndianArmy Officer currently training and coaching in Self Defence in military combat. I share videos around self defence , survival and physical risk management.
This is a tutorial video on how to survive against a crazy guy thrusting his knife into you.
Please practice this so that no more precious lives are lost . Your self defence is your problem , everyone else comes later.

Awesome Cpt.
Glad you enjoyed it
Though it is true no one can defend against sharp cutting weapon with 100℅ precision but it's a fact that continuous practise of survival techniques will make one perfect and atleast one can have the habit of prompt reflexes to mitigate life threat and get the opportunity to run away from the spot.

Thanks for sharing such speedy, energetic techniques sir... 🙏🏻✨
No offence Sir but I have a question. You are describing this self defence technique as a solution to the incident that happened. This technique requires you to be aware that the person has a malicious intent. thats when it will work, but the incident which happened is totally opposite. The person is a known of the victim so any amateur will be intelligent enough to hide his malicious intent, get close to the victim and stab the victim multiple times in a fraction of second and before the victim understands what happened she would have been already stabbed multiple times with a narrow thought process due to adrenaline rush and a physical injury. She will be having a freeze response. Your technique is practical if the offender has given a warning to the victim that he is going to hit her..Thats when she can create a distance, use long range kicks, jabs and pick up weapons of opportunity. If she doesnot see it coming how will she create a distance before getting stabber multiple times that too by a known person who she trusts and does not even dream that the offender has a malicious intent. A girl can use these moves on a stranger who she doesnot know but then why would a stranger ever try to stab a girl. Strangers that use knives are mostly robbers they dont want to stab you they just want the money so thats where you can use this. But a person who the victim trusts and knows from before cannot be defended by this technique
comments and suggestions are always welcome and infact guide us to raise our bar . Well as far as raising hands and maintaining distance is concerned i advocate it as a 'good habit' . Like washing hands before eating even when you know it may not be needed . We can only presume what must have transpired between the departed soul and the culprit but one should always be careful especially after a break up or an actionable which some might feel a hit below the belt . The intent here is to be careful always and every time than being sorry . Even if the hands are not raised then , they should come up as a reflex against a threat .
You are right...but then their comes Awarness and Alertness....

@@CaptJaipreetJoshi Yes sir First of all thank u for taking my words in a sporting spirit of discussion. I too did not intended to say this in offence but to discuss our mutual thoughts on this that the spirit of true martial artist open to discussion and always taking things sportingly..As you said we dont know what actually happened between the offender and the victim, that was my point as well. Knife fight is a very delicate topic. its not essy to defend a knife. its easy to use one thats why its common on most scenarios. even the greatest of martial artists cannot defend a knife completely. maintaing distance through long range kicks, jabs, or using weapons of opportunity or disorienting the offender or using a stick to disarm it is only useful these things are also only useful sometimes.
Thank u sir❤
