I was at this performance, and it was absolutely amazing. You could truly feel the spirit moving. A double blessing, was the fact that I got to work backstage, helping the people that were coming to the Lord!

The first time I heard about Carman was when I was a student at ORU. I am eternally grateful for that. Since then I have enjoyed Carman's music. I used to be a carpool Mom and one of the teenage girls in my carpool went to a Carman concert at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville NC. She gave her heart to the Lord at that concert. I pray that God will continually bless Carman and all those who support his ministry!
Perhaps you don't know about the Awesome Concert Tour he did just a few years ago while he was fighting his first round of Cancer - AWESOME turn out, and AWESOME fundraising for him for it, so the Kids could get in Free. Very Powerful.

jenkzkh I was there that night. I went to my first concert to see Carman at a high school gym in Van Wert Ohio. At that concert I rededicated my life to Christ. I also stayed after to meet Carman. He stayed for over 3 hours after the concert signing autographs and talking to all the people who wanted to see him. You could tell by watching him that he had a heart for God. I went to this concert in Indianapolis because I had a deep hunger for God, and new I would be blessed that night. I am still a follower Christ and always will be. I definitely am not perfect, but by God's grace I am forgiven.

Music reaches into peoples hearts and thus makes a great ministry. Some people will never want to listen to a sermon or go to a church service but will go to a concert and listen to music. It is also a good reason why we should be careful of the lyrics to songs we listen to and not put songs with bad messages or words in our ears. This kind of music is good for our souls.

Another thing that I noticed: Carman actually read from the Bible, as an addition to this beautiful gem of a song, explaining that, no matter what we have need of, whether it's Salvation, Healing of some type of pain or ailment, or even the need to be set free of old habits, or even Demon Spirits, or whatever, we can ask in faith, and God will give us what we need! I know he didn't mention everything that I did, but I honestly believe that that's what he meant. Then, he has the crowd take some time to let loose, and praise God for a little bit. I am thinking about Carman this morning 🌄! Wonder what he is doing in Heaven after being there a year now. I know we will not know time once we get there, but I hope he has gotten to see all his loved ones who have also gotten to Heaven. I sure miss him, but I would not wish him back here for anything away from Heaven. The pain and problems he was suffering from, is why God took him home.
