I have been playing faramis and I can say: He is good with mage or tank build for the team. He can play agressively by diving into the team, gank the hits and easily earns souls to join the fight. A bit responsive, sometimes need a good setup to handle hits. Only small issue for him is that if he gets too much CC from stuns and such, he can't use his ult. Overall he is better than his last
His revamp is really good but his ult's delay is so frustrating. Sometimes when you need to use it to save your team from getting ko, its taking 1.5 seconds to cast

Yeah. But most of the players don't read the skill descriptions and just go with whatever trash support build Moonton's recommending (trust me . You need damage item for his ult. Never build full tank). Then talk shit about him. Plus it's annoying when your team doesn't know how your ult works. I got a team in which everyone understood my ult except for a damn Chang'e. She didn't get how it worked even after 10+ mins watching me and the others. I almost died and gave the enemy a free shut down because of her.
And in another match literally no one understood my ult. Everytime I initiated, they just ran the other way. The enemy chain cc-ed me and just killed me. Then my net went berserk and I couldn't even see what was happening in the battlefield. Needless to say we lost and all got chocolates. Talk about bad luck.

I'm a solid Faramis user before and up until now. And the only thing that I always forgot to use properly and annoys me sometimes on this newly revamped hero, is his ability now on casting his first skill, wherein he can now pass through walls🥺..
I kinda used to the old first skill of Faramis but hopefully maybe one day i can manage to master this new version of Faramis❣
I got faramis for free on the event and he's my guilty hero if i have a tough day, I used lifesteal build for him before but it doesn't work now for some reason :c
For me the old Faramis is way better than the revamp.
Another funny thing about Faramis Ult is that the *map* shows your health very low or something after you were near Faramis Ult despite the fact that your health is nowhere near low.
If I remember it correctly, after Faramis used his ult and you were part of it then its over, the map technically doesn't go back t your original health, it just shows your health when Faramis Ult was used.
Sorry if this was known already or this hardly make any sense! Sort of just wanna point it out :D

I really love the revamp montoon did with faramis. Can be played as a roamer or a support mage. Doesn't follow the conventional way of a mage where they only deal high damage, you can build tanky or as a burst mage.
Revamp ulti gives him way better team fighting potential. First skill makes him a pretty good tank whereas second skill is a good burst against teams that like to stick together. Although he can't burst an mm or assassin straight like most mages can , he's a jack of all trades and contributes to the team in so many different ways
It's hard to look at you not taking the orbs 🤧 but it's a great gameplay as always.

Faramis was my main hero when I started MLBB in season 13, he was very good at 1st and I was happy with him then he started to fall behind, but this new Revamp is very good actually and make him a lot stronger, I like it a lot as a support rather than mage, thank u for the video Betosky! 🙏🏽💙

This has long ass cooldowns, no damage due to his reduced base and damage scaling.
Ult sucks ass and it's so easy to pop and counter.

His Ult has a casting delay/stun/cc disruption which is the reason I sometimes miscalculate the timing of casting it..guess it's better not to wait till you r HP is at one HP lvl, u might get sent to the Shadow realm before even having the chance to cast it..might as well cast it a bit early..Oh and I think it's excellent for team turret diving and when you want to focus the enemy base for the W.

That argus died because odette passive bouncing late(that thing is even buggier before oddete revamp, that thing can bounced like 15 secs late before)

A soul drops whenever u last hit the minions or if u simply hit the target with ur 2nd skill
U can either pick them up by hand by going to the location or u can succ them to u using ur 1st skill near them
The more souls u have the shorter ur respawn time becomes
Honestly its killing me that u never picked up souls in this and u just accidently get them
Also u can press ur 1st skill again to pull the enemies early before the target can escape

12:33 my guess to how argus died and ia said odette killed him is cause odette did the most dmg to him, and he most likely got killed by a minion, and it probs counted towards odette, if not that, i don't know how

12:38 Argus most likely died to Odettes passive. For some reason the Lakeshore Ambience projectiles disappear after a certain distance, but that's only visual so it still flew towards him
or maybe Odette is using a magic worship emblem + glowing wand. The burn damage.

Yes you ar correct, odette was my main and her passive can disappear upon reaching certain distance but the enemy still take damage after some time when it landed 👍🏻

A pretty good revamp, only hard thing about this revamp is that it's hard to get stacks but his skills are definitely the best here.

Yea, the ult is sm better now, i’ve ALWAYS hated how the ult only “revives” you temporarily. It just feels so weird that a necromancer can only revive you temporarily lol. But i rlly loved how the old first skill pulled people using chains, it felt a lot more necromancer-like for some reason. The new hands that grab people are still good i guess?
Use first skill with second for easier stacks. Also the many enemy heroes the better. You can also get stacks from minions 😁👍
Yeah, the stacks you get from minions are by chance now so you cannot get 3-4 stacks from each wave everytime. The only thing I liked about his revamp is the 1st skill alone because of the phasing through walls, manual pull to chained units, and bigger soul stack absorb AOE but with the cost of a very high cooldown especially in the early game.

Faramis has been a very flexible hero for me even before his revamp. But now he can be annoying and also really good for solo players. He can be played as a mage, roamer, and I also tried him in XP lane and he can also be really good against certain heroes. Honestly for me, the second best revamp heroes Moonton ever released (I really like Clint revamp more tbh, back then he was so underrated but he's very OP, I was able to spam him and he carried me hard.)

I think all the revamps are useless. Vexana is even worse than before! Leomord looks the same to me (thankfully!). Faramis may be good, but if your entire team is filled with fools, you can't escape defeat. I like Faramis's new Ult, but I survived better with the old Faramis.

Faramis' new ult is better. It's great especially for saving your mm. Yesterday, I saved our team's Miya from enemy's combo and she got a maniac.
Leo is same for most of the game, but he is better in early game laning phase now. He can easily lane against heroes like Balmond, Alpha, Dyrroth etc and also harrass them from safe distance.

I played Faramis as the roamer with full Tank build and not gonna lie, he's sturdy too that Wanwan could not solo kill me even with her ult in late game.

Now Faramis is one of the most helpful support mages alongside Estes and Angela and I can't wait to use him again as tank support.
estes is kinda meh right now after so many one shot heroes get buffed.. at least in my area

Used to play faramis a lot before the revamp and it’s so weird to change my playstyle. I feel like the old and new faramis are so much different, as the old one does a lot less damage early game because of how the second skill now works and doesn’t bounce off other heroes, minions, etc. still this is a definite w for Faramis and I’ll probably get used to him over time
Little tip to revamp faramis: collect the little orb thingies to have a stack
Another tip each stack increases magic power while reducing death timer up to 40 stacks
Another tip : his 1st skill can go through walls and to collect stacks easier

Its really not, he really just had an upgrade on his mobility. And a big nerf on his damage. His old ultimate caused a 'if i die, you die' situation, which was atleast an equaliser. This one is just sad, the health you get from the new ult is so pathetically low its basically nothing. And when it runs out you just stand in one place being immune. Literally no stratetical advantage, maybe sometines you can help a ally escape but thats it.

No the hp u get from the ult is the hp u had. Also with this ult u don't die to revive. In the old ult ur death counter would go up. Also it's not like the old ult was "strategically better". U couldn't revive if u went out of it
Betosky could've pulled the escaping enemies to his allies by going back and cancelling his first skill instead of trying to stay near them.
If you go too far his first skill will go away

As a faramis main... the only magic damage that i build to him is fleeting time when im using him as a roamer, and the rest is pure defense item. But if your going to play him as a mage then you can go for pure magic damage, or you can build clock of destiny and fleeting and the rest is tank build
but, i feel like mage faramis is now weak, i think they nerfed 2nd skills too hard, but roam faramis is really op rn, the extra hp and invincibility state is incredibly good

If you can already get 3assist/kill when you ult, your ult cd is still the same, unless you ult first, and get tons of assist kill after your ult for next ult
@@distrillbe1928 yeahh i know that, unlike the old one can really benefit from fleeting time because when you wipe the enemys out and you get an assist, you can cast your ult again. But what i meant to say here is that you can benefit from the passive of fleeting time 'after' the duration of the ult is done..for me it does benefit faramis well because his ult has a very long cooldown, and fleeting time can reduce the cd of faramis ult when your getting an assist. In a shorter explanation, faramis doesn't benefit from the fleeting time while you ulting because the cd is still the same, but it can still help faramis to get his ult fast when getting an assist.. but still the old one actually benefits from the fleeting time passive 'while' youre ulting😅😅

i dont think beto knows dis but unlike before, he can pull the enemies towards him instantly by pressing the 2nd phase of the first skill. before revamp we had to wait for the pull, but now it depends on us wen we would pull.
edit: he can also gather the spirits easier using his first skill(ghost form). instead of going towards the spirit to collect them.
I use the second trick so that I won't get close to the enemy while poking them with second then getting juicy passive

I don't blame vale what he's saying is somewhat true. I went to ph server one day to try it out and couldn't understand what they're saying but I would say most of them gives up later or early into the game, losing hope pretty easily. I don't know they're laungage but I think they're flaming new players which tbh happens in every server. This Vale player is probably traumatized but I think he took this way too far by becoming toxic and hot headed

a few notes about the new faramis:
1. you can now pull enemies attached to his first skill before the skill ends by tapping the skill again betosky didn't do it at all throughout this gameplay)
2. faramis' stacks now give him magic power too, it's a good idea to always be on the lookout for them as they not only reduce your respawn time but also your damage.
3. faramis' stacks are guaranteed to drop every 4 seconds and they have a chance to drop otherwise (btw they drop not from units dying but by faramis' skills hitting targets)
4. faramis' ult not gives the allies and himself a second hp bar, kinda like masha which gives your team an opportunity to be ridiculously aggressive as you won't die when this bar is depleted
5. He can now pass through walls when in phantom form
6. His phantom form allows him to collect his passive orbs within a certain radius without endangering yourself to collect it manually

Building Faramis with just 2 magic items is enough probably because of his passive, that each orb he receives increases his magic power a certain amount, not just reducing his respawn time when he dies.
Basically every hero that got revamped or buffed in this season are like solid picks rn tbh, like I actually see more Terizla players, some of the necrokeep heroes, etc.
I'm glad some of the underrated heroes are getting their attention
Faramis skill 1 is so scary now like I've been using it pretty well (even though lots of player just stick around with his first skill) that I just pulled them into the turret (there's a bush next right to the purple buff, usually some enemies hid there. I noticed enemy franco going there so I was like "sure I'll pull him somewhere" but I realized his skill range is big enough so I just pulled him to the turret. He got pulled to the turret and got killed.)

Even before revamping, most still didn't know about his ult. I played him one time and one of my teammates was like ''Freak! He revived! He revived again! Again!"
I died four times in the ult and she was very surprised. Sighs. I really like faramis a lot before and after revamp.
and with his passive I always collect upto full stacks and the enemies are like "what?" and "cheater" I can't focus at that time because I was laughing half of the match but it was worth it 🤣🤣(we still won tho, it's an epic comeback and got a savage, lucky me🤣)
Tbh faramis is so Squishy and easy hit in mid Teamfights its better to build an Hybrid build

@@MiIkywayCookie Classic is auto 'interesting'. The amount of trolls I get when I try to practice or unlock a hero for ranked is immeasurable. Now I farm BP in vs AI. Because the classic mode puts a dent on my overall winrate despite me performing really well most of the time.
