I totally feel for Basavareddy there. Bro had a massive winning streak and was one match away from the Easter Bowl title and had to play a guy who was just playing out of his mind. Smiling through the pain, total respect.
Defo not Challenger level. Even in ITF they'd struggle because opponents are much more consistent and patient, and these guys aren't mentally ready. I just watched Michelsen today vs Seggerman (who's a decent college player tbf to him) and Michelsen nearly threw away the entire match after he choked a second set lead.
@@punpun2773 I think they are futures-winning level, they have the strokes to win futures tournaments. Def not challenger winning level, maybe after college or once they play a bit of college they can fight to win challengers.
@@bballah9969 Alex Michelsen has won multiple futures and made it to the finals of multiple others, and he's playing challengers now. Nishesh is currently the #2 ranked college player, so yeah I do want to talk about the main draw.

Turns out he was just playing a better player.

Woah. Impressed by the level. They are really good. Beautiful and entertaining to watch
These guys are good. No grunting, great serves. Great drop shots. Michelson has a great backhand return. They’re gonna make a living in tennis.

These guys are very polished, challenger level
