Passover is a special day (Sabat) and it can fall on any day of the week. That year, it fell on Thursday (or eendneday, after 18:00 o'clock). He was not buried on Friday, but on Thursday, minutes before Friday. The scriptures say "preparation day", not Friday. I agree with you that Yeshua was put into the ground on Thursday evening. (There were only two sabbaths in a row.) Thursday was Nisan 14, the say the Lambs are killed (not a sabbath). Friday was the first day of Unleavened Bread, Nisan 15, a high sabbath. Saturday was a weekly sabbath. Sunday was feast of First Fruits, it is always on the day after the weekly sabbath (always on a Sunday) and it is an appointed day but not a sabbath. Well done Pastor Todd, I am 100% a Believer in Yeshua/Jesus, I also choose to celebrate the Holy Days of our Jewish family because they were of God's plan and liking versus celebrating the Man made Babylonian Ishtar (easter) Pagan winter Solstice (Christmas) and Sain wein (Halloween) , not to try to be smarter or better than anyone but we are commanded in the Bible not to do as the Heathen/Pagans do, and say we do it in the name of the Lord. Pastor Todd told us & made it quite clear that we did not need to celebrate these Jewish festival days as Christians. I do not celebrate pagan festivals when I celebrate the birth of Christ in Bethlehem at Christmas or the death & resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter & I obviously never celebrate Halloween which is of the Devil.
@@leialee6820 Listen again, he also said it's ok to still celebrate these, not necessary for salvation, reread what I said as well, Christmas is Pagan, I never said I don't celebrate the birth of Yeshua, or the resurrection, Adorning Trees is directly a pagan practice, just like the Cap Santa wears and setting children in his lap and asking for gifts are carrying on with a form of Molech worship, Celebrating Sameramis and Tammuz with egg laying rabbit and dying eggs are old forms Babylonian sun God worship. @@justinhorn2395 You are doing it again suggesting that any Christian who celebrates Christmas or Easter are celebrating pagan gods. You are totally black & white on this issue. Also the reason why he told Mary Magdalene not to touch him was He didn’t want to become Uncle before he was presented before the Lord that same day. Which is what the high priest was commanded to do with the wave offering in Leviticus 23:11

Appreciate your teachings a lot. Thank you. However, please consider: the Passover could not be on a Friday as Jesus died and was buried and he rose again on the third day. The 3rd day is Sunday as we know. Matthew 12:40 (King James Version) 40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. If you count 3 days and 3 nights, the day Jesus was crucified and died (on Passover) could not be on a Friday. Best regards.
Amen, our Savior was crucified on a Thursday and buried that evening. A biblical day is 'evening and morning' per Genesis 1. Day 1 Thursday *evening* (into the heart of the earth) Friday *morning* (in the earth) Day 2 Friday *evening* (in the earth) Saturday *morning* (in the earth) Day 3 Saturday *evening* (in the earth) Sunday *morning* (in the earth...and then resurrected) An 'evening and a morning' = one day. Yeshua was indeed in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights! God bless!
When God says fasting, it's not just from food food. It's from all man has to offer you everything. Its of everything don't take anything from man. And we're supposed to do that day in and Day Out Luke, 9:23.
Now mind you he was not a Roman he did not start a Roman religion. He didn't start a church he started an assembly a Messianic assembly. These were Torah observant Torah loving people who got to see the fulfillment of what the Torah had always promised: salvation!
Repeat and be Baptized in the name of Jesus for the washing away of your sins And receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in Tongues Bible verse Act s 2:38 YOU MUST BE BORN OF WATER AND SPIRIT THAT IS HOW YOU ARE BORN AGAIN
I believe Jesus died on a Thursday at 3pm , he was then in the grave 3 days and 3 nights and rose Sunday morning as firstfruits. Remember the day starts at twilight…The body had to be taken down for the Passover celebrations ….friday is too late.
1. Christ prophesied of Himself that he would be three days and three nights in the belly of the earth. How does one get three days and three nights between Friday afternoon and before sunrise on Sunday morning.? Christ was specific: 3 days and three nights. Those were his words. If Christ was specific in his prophecy of himself, should we not be specific when we understand what He said? If He was wrong, Was He not a false prophet? I do not believe He was wrong. 2. we are told that Palm Sunday was when Christ entered Jerusalem. I believe this is correct. If it was Saturday, He would have broken the Sabbath by traveling more than a Sabbath day's journey. He would not have done that. So it was on the first day of the week. OT tells us this was on the tenth day of the first month. If the tenth was on Sunday, then the Passover was on the 14th or Thursday. This is when He was crucified. 3. We can get both 3 days and 3 nights from Thursday afternoon until Sunday before sunrise. It is my strong belief that Christ was crucified on Thursday afternoon the day of Passover. This was followed by the first day of unleavened bread which would be a Sabbath day as every Gospel writer records. Further John records it as a High day, a high day being a High Sabbath day. This in turn would be followed by the regular Saturday sabbath day. And PLEASE do not teach that Christ rose from the grave on Easter. This is counter to every Gospel. account. Easter is not mentioned in the Bible except in KJV Acts and is not related to the resurrection.
Amen, he was crucified on Thursday and put into the ground _that evening._ A biblical day is an evening and a morning per Genesis 1. Day 1 Thursday *evening* Friday *morning* Day 2 Friday *evening* Saturday *morning* Day 3 Saturday *evening* Sunday *morning* Three evenings and three mornings equal three days and three nights. Yeshua rose on the third Biblical day (evening and morning). He rose on First Fruits which is always the day after the weekly sabbath that falls within the week of Passover. Amen, our Lord fulfilled his one sign that he gave!
Also Passover is not kept for a full day. It starts at sunset and goes till morning, it is considered part of unleavened bread. And there is another high holy day at the end of unleavened bread.
So Jesus fulfilled not only the handwriting of ordinances but also the moral decalogue; do we know what the difference is between the two? Jesus told us that no lawbreaker shall inherit the kingdom so we'd better be 100% sure what law He meant and which laws He did not mean. Do not listen to any pastor or denomination that tries to sell you lawbreaking; sunday 'sabbath' (NOT the 7th day) and the trinity; these expose most churches as false shepherds.
@@HolyLandSite I would think it would be very important to the Christians through history. There are other holy spots in Syria. Also, I was wondering why did the Egyptians chose Jews to enslave and not the blacks of Africa? Thank you for your replies.
@@fs3579 The main reason why the Israelites went to Egypt in the first place was because there was a great famine. This famine caused a severe shortage of food and resources in the land of Canaan where the Israelites lived, so they headed down to Egypt to escape the famine. The first passages of Exodus explains that after Jacob and his sons came to Egypt, the Israelite population quickly multiplied. After Jacob, Joseph, and the rest of Jacob’s sons die, a new Pharaoh who did not know Joseph rose to power in Egypt. This Pharaoh worried that the Israelites were too numerous and would ally with Egypt’s enemies against him, so he decided to enslave the Israelites to keep them from rising in number.
To "add or take away" from ANYTHING the Lord didn't specifically command to do is idolatry, false doctrine, commandments of men" etc. This is how u end up in a state of apostasy (i.e. just like the catholics and ALL of Christianity "commemorating" birthdays, haloween, christmas( tammuz birthday) easter (sammuramis the whore of babylon) etc. Worshiping relics and saints etc. Stick to the gospel and the doctrine of Christ (faith repentance baptism by water and fire, endure in Christ until you come back into his presence (redeemed from the fall) The Book of Mormon teaches the doctrine of Christ and how to come back into His presence)
@@ashleysmith-ib1vgIf it is limited and simple why do we study all the bible? And why did G-d make us curious yet we should not seek all the knowledge we can find?

I love this. However, Jesus had to be in the grave a full 3 days, a 72 hour period so he couldn't have been crucified on Friday and Rose Sunday. If you understand this with the feasts, the Passover lambs being slaughtered at the same time Jesus was crucified, had to be on a Wednesday. The next day (Thursday) was the feast of unleavened bread which was a high day (like a sabbath) so they had to take Jesus off the cross by 6 on Wednesday, so they put him in his grave before Thursday. He was in the tomb Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (the normal sabbath) and Rose Saturday after the sabbath (6 o'clock) on the first day of the week presenting the wave offering that day. It's a rudimentary summary, but I think this is the only way it works with the Jewish calendar, the feasts and the 3 day period of being in the grave a full 72 hours
Great video. It seems that the feast of trumpets is out of place, when it’s understood as one singular event. If the feast of trumpets is indeed the “rapture” of believers in one single event, what is the purpose of the feast of atonement, and the feast of tabernacles? And a side note, isn’t it beautiful that during the feast of tabernacles as they made their way into the temple to pour the water into the funnel at the alter where the water from the pool of Siloam would run under the alter towards the East…. ”In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)“ John 7:37-39 KJV
@@andreareid8657 Perhaps. So many teachings out there.. Christians it seems have evolved into what the Jews ended up being. They added so much opinion to the scriptures that when the messiah showed up they didn’t even realize it.. Based upon what the Bible actually says, the day of Pentecost and known history of 70AD, it appears that the feast days have already been fulfilled. The Bible teaches that no one is required to continue recognizing those days anymore.. Just a thought.
He was crucified at Passover , he was in the at unleavened bread , he was resurrected at first fruits and he gave the holy spirit at pentecost

However, please consider: the Passover could not be on a Friday as Jesus died and was buried and he rose again on the third day. The 3rd day is Sunday as we know.
Matthew 12:40 (King James Version)
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
If you count 3 days and 3 nights, the day Jesus was crucified and died (on Passover) could not be on a Friday.
Best regards.
Amen, our Savior was crucified on a Thursday and buried that evening. A biblical day is 'evening and morning' per Genesis 1.
Day 1
Thursday *evening* (into the heart of the earth)
Friday *morning* (in the earth)
Day 2
Friday *evening* (in the earth)
Saturday *morning* (in the earth)
Day 3
Saturday *evening* (in the earth)
Sunday *morning* (in the earth...and then resurrected)
An 'evening and a morning' = one day. Yeshua was indeed in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights! God bless!
Than you I have an understanding
When God says fasting, it's not just from food food. It's from all man has to offer you everything. Its of everything don't take anything from man. And we're supposed to do that day in and Day Out Luke, 9:23.
Amen!
Amen 🙏

Question: Do you acknowledge God's Holy Days which are biblical or the world's holidays which are not biblical and have pagan roots?
I believe Jesus died on a Thursday at 3pm , he was then in the grave 3 days and 3 nights and rose Sunday morning as firstfruits. Remember the day starts at twilight…The body had to be taken down for the Passover celebrations ….friday is too late.
very nice
Day 1
Thursday *evening*
Friday *morning*
Day 2
Friday *evening*
Saturday *morning*
Day 3
Saturday *evening*
Sunday *morning*
Three evenings and three mornings equal three days and three nights. Yeshua rose on the third Biblical day (evening and morning). He rose on First Fruits which is always the day after the weekly sabbath that falls within the week of Passover. Amen, our Lord fulfilled his one sign that he gave!
יהוה שלום
Also Passover is not kept for a full day. It starts at sunset and goes till morning, it is considered part of unleavened bread. And there is another high holy day at the end of unleavened bread.
Curious... what is the opening music with the voice -like sound?

So Jesus fulfilled not only the handwriting of ordinances but also the moral decalogue; do we know what the difference is between the two?
Jesus told us that no lawbreaker shall inherit the kingdom so we'd better be 100% sure what law He meant and which laws He did not mean.
Do not listen to any pastor or denomination that tries to sell you lawbreaking; sunday 'sabbath' (NOT the 7th day) and the trinity; these expose most churches as false shepherds.
If a man protects lambs and stops men from slaughtering them would that be a sin?
God has blessed all food today and animals are created for mankind's use. No need to protect lambs or any animal today.
Christians have to keep these laws as well as we do, those who don't will not get into the kingdom of heaven, it is written, shalowm
What about the spot where Saul/Paul saw Jesus? Why isn't that spot precious and commemorate? And can you go there to see it?
This place is currently in Syria, and hard to get to. Also, we don't really know where it's at.
Stick to the gospel and the doctrine of Christ (faith repentance baptism by water and fire, endure in Christ until you come back into his presence (redeemed from the fall)
The Book of Mormon teaches the doctrine of Christ and how to come back into His presence)
@@ashleysmith-ib1vgIf it is limited and simple why do we study all the bible? And why did G-d make us curious yet we should not seek all the knowledge we can find?

I’m sorry to inform you but first fruits is not a high holy day and there are 2 high days during Sukkot. One at the beginning and one at the end of the 8 day period.
I usually enjoy every video you put out, this one is full of ads😟
Sorry to hear that. TH-cam just changed its ads policy and have removed a lot of control we have regarding ads in our videos. You might consider TH-cam Premium if you watch a lot of videos on TH-cam. This removes all ads.

What happens if you kill a blemished lamb? Is it less time of protection or it won't work at all?
In the Old Testament blemished lambs were rejected by God and had no value.
Day of Pentecost started on the 4th day, but holy spirit didn't come for 50 days correct ?
Wonderful teaching as always. Could maybe do without the mournful background music 😕
Thanks for watching and commenting. Sorry about the music.
Is it pissible for you to do a video about the rapture please.
Question gentiles we can celebrate all the Passover etc. ?
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)“
John 7:37-39 KJV
I believe the day of atonement is start of trib. The feast of tabernacles is the start of the new millennium when God tabernacles with man ….
