In my opinion no other Fire Emblem game has come close to this level of worldbuilding. Having all these Laguz species with their own regions, goals, and view towards Beorc is astounding, especially when compared to what other Fire Emblem games try to do. In Awakening you just have humans with just their politics, same with Fates, same with Three Houses. This game and Radiant Dawn have such an incredible setup with Laguz and Beorc having such drastic differences, and at the end of the day the same goals and things in common. Might be a stretch but the rushed nature of Radiant Dawn is likely attributed to how much effort they put into Laguz as a whole, both gameplay and story, in both Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. You can tell they cared here, unlike in Awakening and Fates where the only other species are these lazy Taguel, Wolves and Foxes (can't remember their actual names because they're that forgettable). Where do the Taguel come from? Heh dunno. What do any of the Taguel, Wolves or Foxes contribute to the story? Oh nothing? They're just thrown in there as furry bait instead of contributing to the narrative? K.

I think taguel existed because awakening was supposed to be the last one so they wanted to have some kind of beast unit. And in the games defense, the ones you get are literally the last ones in existence so it makes sense there are no others. I agree though lol
Such a good freaking game man. The new fire emblem could stand to learn from this. I bought this game because I wanted to play fire emblem at the time it came out after playing scared stones I had no idea just how good it would be.

I think Tibarn’s(as well as the other Laguz) introduction to Heroes has these kinds of video recommendation because we’ve all been watching banner videos of them.

The wolves of Hatari and the imperfections of the goddesses make me think there’s another continent in that world and we should get a game that takes place in it which could give Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn attention.

The models do look the very same! But of course it can’t be them, they are with Ike. My only theory is that they used the same models to save game storage/data

1:41... having 4 kings in the same scene why did caineghis theme played???... =) king of the beast rules them all... at least in my eyes he is the king of all laguz...
It took me a long time to realize but I think his is the best theme. It’s got that powerful aristocracy feel to it. The drums and the trumpets just scream Regal.
