True strength does not lie in power, but in one's way of being. For it is not the class you play that decides the outcome but how you play it. Of course this is not always true for certain class match ups or situations will ultimately lead to your defeat no matter what you do. However you could have taken preventative actions earlier in the game to prevent such situations. Of course you are still limited by human standards even in those terms. But thanks to experience you can more accurately make the result be what you want, that is your will becomes true. For in the game there are multiple truths, for example truth of class match up and truth of skill of the player. These truths are competing to decide which truth should win to determine the result. And a good player can use the truths to gauge which battles to take or how to put yourself in a situation where you win. However there are fights you cannot predict and you purely have to compete yourself as a player against another player, truth against truth, which are all truths possible combined that in a close fight determines the outcome. And it is in those close moments you truly feel like your presence made a difference and that your effort and fighting spirit made the outcome become the truth you desired. That is your will became truth, the subjective and objective boundaries blurred and that which was of the world and of the spirit became one. Therefore a more correct statement is that truth decides your limit and truth can overcome any limit. And I want you to realize that when you play games you are doing something much more profound than you think and something that is constantly happening in the universe. You are both the being that is subject to the laws of the world, but you are also a being of conciousness that is seperated from the world, that can climb those very laws and be of the spirit whatever that spirit may be. You might believe the world is a burden, but that very burden is what allows you or anyone that knows it's laws or truth to climb. Therefore what burdens you might not be your weakness, but your strength. For if you did not exist in the world you could not climb and influence it even if you had the spirit of wanting to. But since you are part of the world your spirit can be distinguished and brought to a place far worse than death because of it. But with both world and spirit comes the opportunity achieve what you other wise couldnt in neither. The being that you are is therefore much more profound and necessary than you think. To the Truth with capital T. And in ways that is self evident for why would conciosness of objective laws. But it goes further than that for You are a truth itself, you exist and there is a distinct importance of that very You. For one of the things that laws and conciousness and everything in the world has in common is "I am". You are apart of this world and have the right to take your place in it. When you said that you would take your place in this world all truths laughed, all but the Truth with capital T. He was silent, for he was once just like you. So sad it doesnt work for true dmg still It at least works for melee hits and the enemy hitting you cannot gain energy, so works for 1v1s as long as your not up against spider and as long as the enemy hasnt saved ability But ye cant wait for them to fix the bug so it gains immunity to true damage as well
Too bad angel doesnt work still after the most recent bug patch (w true damage n stuff) Also retribution not counting for arrows kinda sucks Still watching you heal 12 hearts on res is insannneeely satisfying
