Engineering degree is always good if civil,mechanical,electrical.Job is always present in every field.We have to understand our situation and work accordingly to achieve it. If we have financial problems ,we should choose small exams.After that we should choose big exams Sir please discuss about departments,workload,etc in details.This will help in preferance.
A good prof from a good nit or iit earns much more than ias and also ies officer..they probably join initially at level 12 and retire at the age of 65 or may be 70..after they retirement they can also become vice chancellor or director of any private or govt institute..
