I feel bad for these people in Houston. Very good examples why people should be self prepared for these issue and not depend on the government. The government cannot always help in certain situations. Self prepared is always better. I live in a hurricane area we are always prepared.
We always had a generator in California for the rolling blackouts when the shut down for power.
Too many US-citizens live pay check to pay check on multiple jobs, and many seniors and veterans on pensions too small to live off. How should they prepare?
Prepping is only good if you can afford it, way too many US-citizens can't.
