      We usually say Chinese New Year. Our Chinese New Year is based on a combination of the solar calendar and the lunar calendar, not just the lunar calendar.

      Koreans rob our culture and make us irritable. Our Chinese New Year has a history of 3000 years. This video is also about the Chinese New Year, so I don't want to hear the word "Lunar New Year".

    应该叫Chinese lunar new year

    • @Meow-hv8vu

    This is the authentic Chinese New Year dragon performance at Odeon Roundabout. This is Yaowarat Road in Bangkok, Thailand. It was evident with my own eyes that dragons also like red envelopes, haha.

    Chinese don’t have lunar new year. China uses Solilunar calendar. Stop culture appropriation. If you are visiting Chinatown or talking with a Chinese, please be respectful say Happy New Year or Happy Spring Festival.

    Correction: This is Chinese New Year. The lunar calendar, lion and dragon dances originated from China. Please do not misappropriate Chinese culture.

      In Singapore we call it Lunar New Year, no longer using Chinese New year (used to), because we have 4 races in the country. Vietnam, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore calling it Lunar, because it is multi races countries.

      @@redstar19 Disassociate and misappropriation of Chinese culture is exactly what the west wants. Singapore is just trying to please their western master.

      History says it's Chinese new year but many Asian countries probably find it offensive as they aren't Chinese but they celebrate new year at same time. Don't be easily offended

    • @pandababy6347
      @pandababy6347 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@karjuntsang6365 Geopolitics is involved and there is purposeful discrimination among the west to disassociate with Chinese and China as much as possible in everything and the thieves and robbers of Chinese culture, the despicable SKpeople who steal everything from China and claimed it's theirs and told shameless lies to the world. The fact is THIS IS CHINESE New Year, it's history and no one can change history. The Chinese lunar calendar originated from China since ancient times, including the famous lion and dragon dances. No one is allowed to misappropriate Chinese culture. China is an ancient civilization with vast and great influences in many countries. Vietnam, Japan and South Korea (once a tributary state of China's) and many other Asian countries with Chinese people had adopted the Chinese New Year celebrations. The Chinese new year date every year is different and can only be determined by China. It is only respectful to give credit where credit belongs. There are many antiChinese and antiChina propaganda posted in TH-cam and other social media, some are very direct, some are very subtle like this topic about purposely removing 'Chinese' from Chinese New Year. Some of you think this is nothing, it's petty issue, but it's not. There will serious consequence if we keep quiet and not fight our rights and what is ours. You have to see through the tricks of these racists thieves robbers and beat them at their own game. I believe in standing firm, speaking up and voicing out strongly to protect our culture and ethnicity from being stolen by these despicable racists, thieves and robbers. Our culture is our identity. Nobody is allowed to steal it and claim as theirs!

    • @pandababy6347
      @pandababy6347 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@karjuntsang6365 I have encountered many Vietnamese who are racists and also like to steal our Chinese culture and claim them as theirs. At another similar post like this one, one Vietnamese gave a twisted fake history account about why Vietnam is the origin of the Chinese New Year and why it should be called Vietnamese New Year and not Chinese New Year, they even claimed they conquered China and we stole their new year from them.🤡 Thus, I made alot of effort to proof him wrong and refuted every claim he/they (there's a few of them who appeared out of nowhere) made with historical information and facts. In the end, they were speechless because they know what I am saying is the historical truth and facts so they could not continue arguing with their lies anymore. This is the reason why it is important to refute them. Because people from many parts of the world are reading our comments. Most of them do not know about Chinese culture or history in detail and are easily influenced by these shameless, despicable, thieves, liars, robbers and racists. When I leave the truth in the comments against them, I expose their lies and how they fabricated fake history to cover their lies. This is why it is important we don't keep quiet and ignore but speak and expose them.
